We arrived late after Reception had closed but getting our room key was pre-arranged, easy and no problem. The Captains Lounge with it's views, free hot drinks, comfy sofa's and pool table was a great place to rest after a days sight seeing and walking. Our room overlooked the harbour with lovely views and we ate breakfast on our balcony (just warm enough in April!) . The breakfast was of good quality but loses a little when its understandably wrapped in cling film. It would be nice if there was a place to top up orange juice etc. The room was clean and well maintained, lovely lighting, exposed timber beams and big windows. Just short of a USB outlet near the bedside tables and a couple of glass tumblers in the bathroom. Our in room coffee machine only seemed to have decaf too! Staff were keen to make sure everything was ok for us, (thanks Mike). $25 taxi ride to airport, 10 minutes to the Freedom Trail. Would definitely stay again!…
Great little boutique hotels conveniently located about 15 minutes walk from the North End and 10 minutes walk from Quincy Market. Super friendly staff. The room we had was absolutely amazing. Great view of Boston Harbor. Room and the rest of the hotel were very clean. Very comfortable beds and great shower pressure. Free breakfast delivered to your room every morning. Access to Captain's Lounge all day (I forgot what time they closed but it's pretty late) with a Keurig set up for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. It was a little to cold to use the balcony in March, but we will definitely be back someday in the summertime.
We stayed at the Boston Yacht Haven Inn over Christmas weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff made check-in a breeze; the inn was well-appointed, and the views breathtaking! The in-room breakfast was delicious -- we enjoyed freshly made quiche, pancakes, and croissants each morning. We could not believe how quiet and relaxing our corner of the inn was. Everything was within walking distance -- phenomenal restaurants, bakeries, shops, and the aquarium. I would give it six stars, if that were an option!
WE booked this Inn as an alternative to the usual hotels in Boston. The location is great and within walking distance to everything in the north end. The staff was friendly and attentive. The Inn itself is clean, quiet and has beautiful views of the city and harbor. We would highly recommend this Inn to anyone looking to stay in Boston.
From the first moment we arrived at the Yacht Haven Inn, we knew we found a true gem to stay while visiting Boston for 4 nights! From the stunning views of the harbour, the incredibly comfortable and spotless room and for all the special touches, that made our stay so memorable. There was a bottle of wine and biscotti cookies in our room when we arrived and chocolates left every night on our night stand. A tray of cookies were left on a table in the hallway for all to enjoy! All the special touches that makes a stay so wonderful. Breakfast was ordered on a card that you leave outside your door the big before and delivered precisely at the time you selected. Always fresh and delicious! We were always greeted by smiling faces by either Mike or Nancy. They were incredibly helpful in making suggestions for restaurants and our daily activities! All their suggestions helped to make our stay in Boston so perfect! We look forward to a return stay at The Yacht Haven Inn!…
Not many lodging options offer the experience of this very special inn. The location is perfect if you want a quiet retreat that’s just feet away from all the city’s attractions. The property is truly 5-star; great views of the marina/harbor, extremely comfortable and clean rooms with every amenity, a delicious breakfast every morning delivered to your door, and a warm and attentive staff. It was like a home away from home. We were fortunate to secure parking at the inn, which is first come first serve, but wouldn’t be an issue with other parking close by. Definitely one of finest stays anywhere, and consider yourself fortunate for finding this hidden gem.
Views from penthouse are unbeatable for this area. Rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast delivered to the room is a nice touch! Mike was very helpful with suggestions on attractions and how to navigate the area. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and were very happy. The hotel is spotlessly clean and newly renovated with very comfortable furnishings. The view of the harbor couldn’t be better. The rooms are large and have extra pillows, blankets, etc. There are many restaurants very close and Little Italy is literally steps away. The staff was friendly and helpful. It really couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be back!
We spent 2 weeks in the area of Boston and Cape Cod, but decided to splurge our last night in Boston before flying out and found the Boston Yacht Haven Inn. It was like our pot of gold after a wonderful 2 week stay. Rooms were immaculate, spacious, and luxurious. The lounge off of the lobby was also a great place to relax and watch the boats and the water activity. We were so comfortable in the lounge, that we decided to just order take out and eat in the lounge. Lucky us, as we had the best view than any restaurant in Boston. I nice breakfast was delivered to our room promptly at the time we chose. Definitely 5 stars. We will for sure try to stay again next time we are in the area.
