Neighbourhood
Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront
This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.

Convenient to Logan Airport and to downtown Boston. Lots of new development in the Seaport District has provided several off site options. Great to have Starbucks off of lobby. Banquet food and service is very good. Hotel is clean and service is good.

Standard room, standard facilities, standard everything. Nothing sticks out as exceptional. There was no recognition of gold status at check in and didn't feel as a valued customer. As this was a business trip I don't bother complaining but if I paid with my own money I would

The hotel is a short ride from the airport and close to downtown. Really friendly staff at check in, housekeeping and all. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. I got a front side view of the hotel but I bet the back side views are great, but it was just fine. Starbucks is in

The place was ok but the thing that irked me was I was charged for parking. I was making my way from Maine to New Jersey and wanted to stop in Boston along the way. I found it online and a good distance to Fenway Park walking so I would not return there in the future.

I'm glad you found our convenient location in the heart of the Seaport District of Boston provides direct access to interstate highway 90 and 93. Parking does come at a premium in the city, but we offer a competitive self-parking option which provides a lower overnight cost option to our guests in comparison to our competitors. Upon check-out you can leave your car until 6 p.m. the following day for the same overnight rate while you explore the city and we even provide in and out access very few garages provide city-wide. For those traveling without a car, there are several public transit options. Silver Line access is complimentary when traveling inbound to our neighborhood from Logan Airport. We are also less than a half mile from South Station providing quick access to Amtrak, regional rail and bus service from New York City & New Jersey.

What is the situation with parking ? I cannot find that anywhere .
My advice is to avoid street/self parking at all costs. I would go so far as to park in a suburb and take a cab/Uber/Lyft to the Westin. If you fly to Boston you can take the Silver bus line to the Westin for free, although I wouldn't recommend it if you have children or a lot of luggage.

We took an Uber everywhere because the parking was $40.00 a night if you’re staying there or I think $65.00 if you’re not staying there. We just didn’t want to deal with it. They also have Valet parking but I don’t know how much that is.

I heard this place is kind of in the middle of nowhere, is that true?
I wasn't fond of this location. View of city skyline from one of our rooms was nice but not very exciting for walking around hotel. I like the Westin Copley A LOT better! It was a great location for exploring the area around hotel....
