Frequently travel to Boston & after staying at various other places finally realised nothing beats the service, comfort and convenience of Intercontinental Boston. Food quality, room comfort, friendly staff and amenities are all top notch. Best part is the location, close to the waterfront with easy access to financial district, innovation district, downtown Boston and the tourist hotpots, nothing beats...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Spent a couples weekend in Boston at the Intercontinental and was able to walk to most sights, including Freedom Trail, waterfront, the market and Chinatown. Staff was very helpful and after giving recommendations, continued to check in with us each time we passed by. Hotel is extremely clean and comfie. Also very quiet except for an occasional siren as it's...

I have been attending conferences at the InterContinental for several years now and am always very impressed by the quality of the experience. The service is never less than perfect and the location particularly convenient. I do not stay at the hotel itself as I do not believe in paying their room rates with my own funds but I would...

Great service from front desk staff. Great location within walking distance to some of the best seafood restaurants, including "James Hook & Company". The room is fairly spacious and fairly comfortable, with a rather firm mattress on the bed. Parking is pricey.

The hotel utilizes an online internal concierge service that pops up when you first sign in to their wifi. We indicated that we were not quite satisfied with our hotel room in this survey and the front desk quickly and proactively responded with not only a fantastic room change, to a corner suite, but in honor of a special anniversary,...

and the young bellman appeared, gave me an umbrella for the day, assumed I'd bring it back, didn't frisk me for a photo ID, and didn't charge the room. So I tipped him. This was a simple example of the class I experienced during a recent business trip. The Club Floor venue is well worth the fee. I'd stay there...

This was a quick 2 day trip to visit my son and I have to say that I love this hotel. I used my free nights that I get with my IHG credit card and still received an upgrade to a large room with a great shower and good view. Nice size tv too. The bar is excellent also. Everyone...

Excellent service from the staff. We arrived early at 9:00 am and they still checked us in which was great after getting up at 3 am to fly to Boston. Room had two double beds which were very comfortable. Bathroom was large and had both a shower & soaker tub. You can take a water taxi from the airport to...

From the cheerful greeting on the sidewalk by the bellman to the gracious front desk staff our visit started on a very high note . The hotel is beautiful with a modern and very welcoming lobby floor. A small bar, sushi restaurant and bistro style area complete the first floor. You can walk directly outside to Boston harbour and the...

I stayed here a couple of years back on my 25th Anniversary they gave me a wonderful room overlooking the harbor. Was hoping for the same few for my southern friend I should of mentioned it when I called to confirm my room but I was happy to get the 2 double beds and my employee rate so blessed to...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
