Great hotel at beautifull location on Boston waterfront. Arrived by watertaxi from airport which is pleasant 10 minute journey and you get dropped off at hotel jetty. Hotel conference facilities and food are fantastic.

The hotel is in a fantastic location on the harbour front. 10 minute taxi ride from Logan airport, a water taxi is also available in the summer months. Beautiful clean hotel, bedrooms are a good size, immaculate bathroom, lovely separate powerful shower. Hairdryer also provided. Every member of staff we had dealings with, were super friendly and helpful, nothing seemed...

This is a very nice hotel. Staff is very pleasant and always around offering help. They have a gift shop in the lobby as well as a modern restaurant and bar. There is a mini fridge in the room but its filled with mini-bar items. WiFi is strong and available throughout the hotel. Pros: - Well equipped gym and nice...

The location of the hotel was very good within walking distance from the city's financial centre. The room was very spacious and luxurious, extremely clean and the bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not available to use during my stay but everything else was perfect.

The Intercontinental is a new hotel on the Waterfront in Boston. Very close to South Station, a short hop to Logan and well situated for visits in the financial district. Very good choice for a visit to Boston. The only downside I could come up with, the pillows. Not sure why, but I found them very uncomfortable.

The hotel is just in front of the harbour area. A short walk from the centre and Quincy Market. The staff in the hotel were amongst the friendliest and helpful I have come across in my travels. Nothing was ever a problem for them. They all without exception made our stay extremely happy. The rooms are very clean. And the...

The rooms are great, very large with plenty of space. The bathroom is equally amazing with a great separate shower and massive bath. The only downside was a hatch between the bathroom and bedroom which we didn't understand, as you could watch TV whilst at the basin, but not in the bath. It was also semi transparent so disturbing the...

On the plus side: the lobby is nice, the room was clean, bathroom large and comfortable. On the negative: Wi-fi is not complimentary, real attitude from the concierge and connected Icon parking garage - which charges $44/night to park! When I told the front desk about our experience with the parking they didn't do anything beyond saying sorry.

this hotel is beautiful and perfectly located in downtown. The rooms are well done and comfortable, and the atmosphere in the lounge, bar and restaurants is very modern and elegant. Perfect venue for any business meeting, but would also stay here for private occasions as well.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
