Received an upgrade without asking. Lovely service. Possibly the best gym in a hotel in the US. Friendly. Unpretentious. Posted a letter for me no charge. Bar was busy with a nice mix of people. Menu nice but only steak was huge, which meant I had fish. Probably a good thing then... Will always opt to stay here when in...

Everything was just perfect at this hotel from the minute I checked in until I departed a few days later. My first encounter upon checking in with Spencer at the front desk was unbelievably great. Spencer spent time telling me all about the hotel and also gave me a coupon for a cocktail! My room was extremely large, comfortable and...

We had a weekend getaway in Boston. One night with our toddler and the second night was our anniversary celebration without kiddo. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was fabulous. I get a bit nervous going into a four diamond with a 2.5 year old. Anyway, they treated her with such kindness and at the end of her stay,...

Our room was both spacious and well appointed. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, seeing to our every need. Parking right at the hotel was an added benefit that we took full advantage of. The location was convenient to both our commute into and out of the city as well as the restaurants we patronized during our stay. Overall I...

The hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. THe staff is very accommodating from parking your car, to check-in to any kind of service during your stay. We had our dog along and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel it self is very open and inviting for a city property. Rooms were great and had the feel...

I travel a lot. The service, welcome, towels, granite countertops in the bathroom, comfy bed, superb cocktails in the bar and reasonable price made this a great experience. I will return to enjoy! Thank you!

Me and my truly better half stayed here mid week back in Nov 2016 while attending the Schwatz centers National compassionate person of year dinner presentation in which my wife was an award finalist. The hotel is well situated and within walking distance of most major sights of the city plus very close to the "in" waterfront area of Boston....

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
