The location is simply perfect for a weekend getaway in Downtown Boston. The hotel is centrally located and has an excellent staff! There are rooms that overlook the city or the harbor, depending on what you may prefer. Prior to arrival, we had placed some requests within the reservation and the Front Desk personnel ensured we were taken care of....

We recently stayed at InterContinental in Boston -- it is a beautiful, beautiful hotel. Rooms are large and deluxe and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Wish they were dog friendly like the Kimpton Hotels we normally stay in (I think you can bring your pup for a $75 fee, but for a one night stay thats a bit steep)...

Newly decorated, nicely appointed, extraordinarily clean room. Spacious separate shower and big tub. Wonderful housekeeping service. Valet parking service was quick, courteous and helpful with luggage. We enjoyed 2 excellent meals at the in-house restaurant, Miel. Wonderful servers, tasty and quite exotic menu, good wine list.

We are just returning home from a 4 night Easter getaway in Boston. We traveled with our four children (ages 13-7) and had adjoining rooms to comfortably fit us all. We had plenty of space and the rooms were clean and well maintained. We had a city view which would be my biggest complaint. The room overlooked the Boston Fire...

The room was superior (high quality, superb interior & bathroom, clean), the view was splendid (harbour view overlooking Boston tea party ships) and the location was optimal for me (Quincy market, North end, South station, City all within walking distance). The staff was very friendly and helpful also to children. Only minor disadvantage was some noise from departing planes from...

The location is great it's a quick walk into town and the setting on the water is lovely, also being close to south station us a great plus. The service at this hotel is some of the best I've ever experienced and the staff were really helpful. I would definitely stay again next time I'm in Boston

The location is perfect and the rooms are nice with a good sized bathroom. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

“There was no refrigerator in our room. We could of used one for drinks and desserts we could not eat at dinner, but brought back to the room for a late night snack. That is just how we travel, if you usually don't need a refrigerator, then it's perfect for you. It was a fantastic room even without the fridge.”
