The hotel was not visibly dirty but we notice how much dirt came through the tub. It was gross. Also, we noticed that when we went to our first room that we opened someone else's hotel room and poor man was asleep as we got in late!!! It is conveniently located near the train and safe neighborhood. The room was...

Dear Holly K, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback about the property. We apologize for the mix up, as this is not the norm! In addition, can you let us know which room you were in so that we may check the tub? We agree, this is not acceptable and we would like to correct it...

This hotel was okay but the staff at the front desk were great. The hotel is pretty old and in need of refurbishment but the location worked best for us since my daughter lives nearby. Price wise it was a good value for the area. We used Uber to get into downtown Boston and it was a very affordable trip,...

Dear Janice B, Thank you for your feedback about the property. We are pleased that you found the staff, price and location to be great! And good to know about the Uber pricing for travel to downtown. Guests now have many close options to get around the city - trolley, car, taxi, bus and Uber. Cheers!

This Best Western is in a convenient location to the Brookline area of Boston. Older hotel but the hotel consists of several detached 2 story units with parking wrapped around the units for close access to your car for several units. Outside patio off the breakfast area is nice. Hotel reminds me of being in a "motel" circa the 1950's...

First I must say that while this hotel is 4 miles from Tufts University, it takes over 25 minutes to get there because of the traffic and city layout. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and I didn't not find it hard to get a parking spot. The breakfast was good. Just wished they had...

Dear Traveler3040, Thank you for taking the time to review the property. We are pleased to see that you enjoyed the staff, guestroom, breakfast and parking. We apologize for the bathroom tub set up, noise, age of the hotel and distance from Somerville. We hope that you would consider staying with us again.

I love staying in a place that is close to everything I need and especially a "hotel" which I can easily walk out my door to the car. The breakfast food was very good but the only negative was the service which was poor. Had to ask for more coffee to be made, butter, syrup and sauage was empty and we waited...

Old infrastructure, Creaky flooring, door needs to be banged to shut it. Poor service on more than one breakfast instances, billing inaccuracy. I would expect this experience at hotels half the price but not at this price.

We stay at the Best Western University/Brookline/Brighton everytime we visit our family in Boston. Location is the reason. Price used to be important, but rates have increased. The hotel is old but serviceable. However, the staff is wonderful, which makes up for the tattered accommodations.

My son & I stayed at BW due to proximity to Boston Children's & Fenway Park.. Felt very safe & loved kitchenette in room. Beds were comfy & full breakfast was available til 10am. Would definitely recommend for the price.
