The doors at the entrance of each floor slam so hard that no one in an end room such as where I was located could possible get any sleep. It shakes the room and would wake you up 40 times all night long. When desk was confronted the door was left open most of the night but, when the next...

We stayed our first night in Boston at the Comfort Inn, but after experiencing dreadful customer service and tired facilities, we looked for an alternative. How I wish we had found the Chandler Inn first! Terrific location, and we were made to feel very welcome by the gentleman on the front desk. It was no trouble to leave our bags...

I always stay at the Chandler Inn when coming to Boston. I used to live in the South End and love the location. The rooms are very modern and clean. The staff are very friendly.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Chandler Inn. Both times it has been extremely enjoyable. The reception staff are some of the friendliest and best I have had the pleasure of meeting in my many years of travelling. While the Chandler Inn doesn't serve breakfast, there are many excellent options within a short walk of the hotel,...

We chose this hotel largely based on the reviews and because it was in close proximity to the Back Bay station. It was a terrific area and, as other reviews state, very close to all the city center activity. The hotel and surrounding area were very quiet and there was a decent selection of restaurants. We had a boutique room...

The room wasn't huge, but I only needed a place to stay so it fit my purposes very well. It was also a lovely room and the inn is located in a charming little neighborhood. It's no more than a ten minute walk to Copley Square, nor more than five to Back Bay station, and it's very close to lots...

We stayed here for our anniversary because it was so close to many of the bars and restaurants we wanted to go. The room was very clean and the view was great. I never saw anyone on my floor and we never heard anyone which made us feel like the only ones WHICH WE LOVED!! The ONLY drawback or negative...

We had a a great stay at the Chandler Inn. We were able to walk to so many great restaurants and other places we wanted to go. The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided us with a coupon for a nearby parking garage. The room was really clean, albeit small. Nice modern decor. The price was great. We could...

Great stay! Only negative side was the shower. Water pressured seemed a bit low so didn't come out of the shower head with much force. Also, water temperature was always either just lukewarm or somewhat cold...making for not a very soothing shower. Other than that....awesome location, very clean, asthetically pleasing, the back pillows for sitting on the beds are awesome...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
