Short and sweet trip to boston. Cannot find a thing to critique about this lovely hotel. The hotel is beautifully located across from the boston common which is centrally located and a walking distance to newbury street, shopping destinations among copley square and prudential center to name a few, great places to snack, etc. Also located less than a block...

It made my day to share your wonderful comments with my colleagues. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the central location of our Boston hotel as well as each aspect of your stay; however, the greatest compliment of all is to read your kind words about our team. I have high expectations of the four seasons and whilst Boston was really good, I can't help but compare it to a recent stay at the Dublin four seasons. First impressions were good. The doorman seemed to know who I was (I still haven't figured out how he did this!) and check in was fine. They gave my son a...

Exceptional food, rooms, service and the location of the property is perfect for the international traveler or someone who likes like to be in the city center. In sum, the staff here "just get it." Well done Four Seasons -...

What can you say, the Four Seasons always hits the mark. We were given a room facing Boylston St. and The Common Wealth Park. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
