HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 13 March 2017

My husband and I did a weekend trip to Boston and stayed at the Omni Parker House in March 2017. We had a lovely room which consisted of a king bed, couch, two easy chairs, a dressing table, loads of closet and drawer space. There was also a safe in the room. If you are looking for a hotel with...

We so enjoyed the beautiful lobby, walking the Freedom Trail, close proximity to restaurants, easy access to the T. Very nice experience! We came for a Harvard graduation. So glad we took time to experience downtown Boston!

The hotel may hold a historical value but is not worth the price. The rooms are small, the furniture is old and the bathrooms are tiny. There appears to be no sound barrier between the hallway and other rooms as you hear everything in the middle of the night. A way overpriced room and you would be much better to...

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Rooms (and especially the bathrooms) are small. The staff was very nice and helpful with a special matter that I needed taken care of. It is within a short walking distance of several very good restaurants.

Heavy bang constantly. Got very little sleep. At 8:15pm (I was sleeping) phone rings. Front desk says they don't have an imprint of my credit card which I found ridiculous. Angry, I said you've had all day to tell me this! I will see you in the morning any hung up. Phone rings again. It was the dolupoosed manager. I...

The hotel was beautiful, full of history, very convenient walking distance to everything and perhaps the friendliest staff ever! We were well taken care of from the time we dropped off our car until we left 2 days later.

This hotel has a very definite faded grandeur. It's like stepping back to the 1930s staying here. A little creepy but also owns a lot of history. Rooms are well air conditioned and the housekeeping is excellent. Rooms sparkle every day. Thank you to housekeeping whoever you are. Bar staff are very friendly and will do everything to accommodate wishes....

We stayed here for 3 nights in a suite and we couldn't be more pleased. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, from the concierge to the housekeeping staff. This hotel is beautiful and has modern comforts even being the oldest running hotel in the US. Our room was spacious with a living room and large bedroom. I will say...

I went only for three days, but we were very pleased about the Hotel we chose. A great Hotel, in the middle of Boston. Close to almost everything. Beautiful, historical and very good service. I strongly recomend it!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
