A hotel at this level should not charge for internet. Bathrooms dangerous since no grab bars in bathtubs. How many law suits have you had already? Elderly and those with disabilities should be offered walk in showers. Bath/tub combinations source of accidents. Peeling wallpaper, shredded carpeting. Valet parking behind it took almost 40 min to get car when we left.

When I began traveling for my company 20+ years ago, I used to stay here often while in Boston. It was a nice hotel with a great location 5+ minutes walk from the financial district, but just a smidgeon cheaper than other hotels in its class. ...On this trip, I had the same positive experience as before. The room was...

Our buffet was beautiful and server Tony was great. When we made reservation 3 wks in advance we were told of menu and 3 brunch beverages. When the check came we were surprised to find that mimosa's and coffee were additional cost. It would have been nice to be told this at time of reservation. $80. Extra , not a...

This hotel is steps from the beautiful Boston Common and other attractions. Easy walking distance to many important sites in Boston, great shopping and restaurants. Even easy walking distance to the new Seaport area over the river past the Children's Museum. To me, the staff are what made this hotel so memorable. So welcoming and genuinely friendly. The only small...

This is an older historic hotel in a great location to tour Boston. It's steps from Boston Common and easy walk to the Market. I had a single room on a lower floor. No view but fairly quiet and didn't overlook the street. Only complaint was that the bathroom was very small. Staff at this hotel and outstanding and genuinely...

Great location, right in the center of Boston. The hotel is old and could use some maintenance, the drain in the bath tub was not working properly, some furniture in the room were worn out. The atmosphere is very peculiar, not a very family friendly place. Staff is helpful and competent. Standard Rooms have no fridge also the portable fridge...

We checked in to the Omni Parker House today, and our experience has been flawless. We are here for three nights, then returning again a week later for three nights. I have NO regrets about pre-booking our stay here. The property is flawlessly clean, and the location can't be beat. But the staff are the star of this hotel. Our...

Front desk was not as professional as I expected. I was not fully informed of all my options. The friendliness of the bell men were exceptional and the food was delightful. They made up for the lack of professionalism at the front desk.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
