My sister and I have had the most wonderful time at the Revere. It is the best hotel we have ever stayed in in Boston. We come here for a fun weekend about once a year , and Dawson stay at the bigger name, upscale nearby hotels. The difference at the Revere is the staff and warm, friendly ambiance. Without exception, everyone is friendly, kind, interested in our well-being, and helpful. We want to give special recognition to the front desk supervisor, who checked us in - Nimet Leka- he made us feel very welcome, and at home; Zach Whitham had taken a call from me before we arrived, as I had some questions. He was very welcoming and polite, seemed genuinely interested in making our visit a great experience.Glenn Mace helped us one day with some questions about Boston, places to eat, and we enjoyed speaking with him. Our breakfast this morning was lovely due to the attention of Muller M, whose welcoming smile, impeccable service, and manner made breakfast a delightful experience. The food has been excellent. Our bar service on Saturday night was provided by a lovely young blonde lady, whose name I didn’t get, however, even though she was clearly busy, she made time for us, and made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely return, and will recommend the hotel to others. It is the staff and the experience they provided that made this stay perfect.
The rooms, amenities, are all perfect. We especially enjoyed the balcony in the view.

They try to have a modern interpretation of Colonial style, and largely pull it off. There's a statue of Paul Revere in the lobby lounge, made of oddball metal parts welded together. The rooms are comfortable, well-appointed, and we didn't hear a squeak from other rooms. The bathroom was small but luxurious. The full buffet breakfast was delicious but a bit pricey at $25 a head, partly justified by serving lox for your bagels. Parking is typically Boston, which is to say, exorbitant. Overall, for the location, I felt it was a good value and would stay there again.

This hotel is a combination of most of the things you want if you're traveling for work: hip, comfortable, relatively quiet, with good (though somewhat expensive) restaurant and bars. The front desk and concierge staff are friendly and super helpful, and the turn-around entrance makes pickup and drop-off easy, especially in a traffic heavy and convoluted city like Boston. Rooms are decorated in a "modern quirky" style, and are also highly comfortable. The bath products are luxe, and efforts seem to be made to keep the carbon footprint down in terms of washing and disposable products.

First of all, in the middle of this pandemic, I have to say, the hotel was very clean. They practiced social distancing and were great about their cleaning policies, i.e. no staff will enter the room during your stay unless you request it. Rooms are sealed off until you arrive and I saw staff cleaning surfaces quite a bit.

Obviously, many of the amenities have been suspended due to Covid-19 (like room service, the pool, etc.). If you need certain amenities, I'd definitely call first.

You can't beat the location. There are restaurants all around you and it's only a brief walk from Boston Common. We parked our car in the garage ($42/day) and left it there. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go.

The room itself was a standard hotel room with some fun art work making you remember you were in the "Revere" Hotel (see my photo). However, the building could use some updates and repair. Peeling floors, damaged elevators (graffiti in the garage elevator), chipped furniture, etc. Nothing terrible, but it's those little things that can make the difference between a good hotel and great one.

All in all, I'd stay there again.

I appreciate your comments on the attention to cleanliness...we know it is more important to everyone nowadays and it's good to see our efforts are not unnoticed. We can hardly wait for things to get a little closer to normal but, to be clear, cleanliness will still be very important. I am sorry you came across examples of needed maintenance and I trust our engineering team is working their way to the room you were in for their regularly scheduled visit to address such items. As for the graffiti in the elevators, I will get with the company who owns and operates the garage to care a bit more for our "curb appeal". I am thrilled you would stay here again and look forward to welcoming you when you do.

Hotel decor and furnishings badly need an update. Rugs in halls and rooms are dingy, walls scratched and dirty. Daily maid service is by request only - and then got pushback about having linens changed and room vacuumed after 3 days. Requested quiet room away from elevator on high floor more than a week in advance, paid extra for higher level room, got placed next to elevator. Got rude pushback from front desk clerk when I asked him to honor my request. Another clerk took over and made it happen, but was unpleasant start to my stay. Pool was closed, no notification of that when making reservation, and yet I was charged a "resort fee" of $28 per night anyway which was added on to room charge. The rates were on par with a 4-5 star hotel; service, cleanliness, amenities and decor were not. Excellent location was the only plus. Would not recommend.

We stopped here for the night as we had an early flight out of Boston airport. Check-in was quick simple, friendly and easy. Our room was spacious which always helps when heading off on a big trip with a lot of luggage and well decorated. We'd asked front desk to pre-order a taxi for us and a wake up call. Everything ran like clock work and with the location in town we were able to go out for a nice dinner get to bed early and easily get to the airport in about 10 mins as there was no traffic at "silly o'clock".

My boyfriend and I drove in from VT for a Celtics game. Quick turn around trip! The hotel was easy to find, parking was simple! You could either valet at the entrance or keep driving into the parking garage (You never have to go outside). You can even attach your parking fee to your room for a quick exit from the garage.

Check in was easy and fast. However, the polite woman that checked us in could have provided more information (check out time, exits from the lobby to the street, location of gym and pool, wake up call).

Reasonable rate for the room and it had great amenities. We had a king suite with a beautiful view of the back bay skyline. Fairly clean restroom, but required a dusting and a final rinse in the shower. The bed and pillows were comfy! However, a little discoloration was visible on the comforter. We both slept great and were not disturbed by neighboring sounds. I’m obsessed with having a refrigerator available at a hotel and to my liking we had one in our room. We had 2 balconies as well, but don’t be fooled, they have a width restriction for safety (I’m guessing?) 2 TVs and a shays lounge sofa, safe, robes and a door to close off the bedroom.

We sadly never ventured into the restaurant or the rooftop lounge. Overall very pleased and will be back! Too bad we could only get away for 1 night.

The mattress in our initial room was so broken down that it was uncomfortable. It was sagging in the middle and my husband and I spent all night rolling into the sagging spot. There was also a tear in the duvet cover. When I reported this to the front desk staff the next day, they immediately offered us another room. The bed was marginally better in this room, but the room smelled like mildew. We discovered that the air conditioner was visibly leaking onto the carpet and the carpet was soaking wet. I stepped on it and my socks got soaked it was so wet. This room also had red stains on the carpet and on one of the pillowcases. The staff again switched our room. At the third room, we finally had a decent room. The front desk staff was very responsive and helpful. The facilities and cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired for a high end hotel. Also, the housekeeping staff was not masked and going from room to room where people were staying unmasked. The rooms need to be cleaner, better maintained and with better mattresses for this hotel to be worth the price.

Tiny tiny room for the price you pay. Terrible sheets, blankets, and comforter. Zero amenities. Literally better setup at a Best Western. There is nothing about this hotel I would recommend. By all means save your money and never step foot inside. They told me I was spending $134/night (which I was prepared to spend) only to find out only one night was that much. One night of my stay was $350. Even if I didn’t care about the money, this hotel sucks. They have nothing to offer. Rooms are so small and we paid for the nicest room they have. Bed was aweful and sheets were terrible quality. We ordered four extra blankets because nothing was warm enough (and we love to sleep cold). I could go on and on but ultimately stay anywhere but here. Literally any holiday inn will give you a thousand times more than this. Breakfast is $25/person a day here. On top of your room cost you pay $30/day for “service” which was non existent. I’m just very appalled. And I Usually don’t care about these kinda things....but this time I spoke up.

The decor was very fitting for the name and location. Cool looking place. The beds were comfortable and the room was super clean! Staff was very helpful throughout our stay, offering great suggestions and recommendations for things to do and both day and night. Our room was ready even though we arrived very early in the day and even though there was no fridge in our room when we got there, one was delivered within minutes of our request for one. The hotel is in a great location and most of our destinations were within walking distance. It's a dog friendly hotel and there was even a cute little sign welcoming one of the guests dogs by name with a water dish at the entrance.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely look to stay at the property again if we ever visit Boston again!

Construction was going on next door and I saw king cab work trucks parking. The Revere uses a public deck next to the hotel. I found it clean and safe.
