Staff was 100% professional, beginning with the Bellman, the reception, checking in was easy and all through the weekend, everything was pleasant - other than the constant banging and horns blaring and demonstrators screaming in front of the hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel in the Back Bay area within walking distance to the Boston Pubic Gardens, Boston Commons, Fenway, etc. We also enjoyed going to the Prudential Mall (all inside walking from the hotel) and walking across the enclosed walkway. Our room was...More

Thank you for the generous rating of Sheraton Boston Hotel. We are delighted you enjoyed everything we have to offer, including our great location and your comfortable room. We hope you will come back to see us soon!
Great central location in the city of Boston. Older hotel room wise, but room was clean, had a nice view of the city even though I didn't have one over looking the water. Hotel lobby very nice as well as the bar and restaurant area....More
You know this is a well worn convention hotel, but they seem to try to keep things as clean and updated as much as possible ahead of the expected wear and tear. Connection to the shops at the Prudential Center means they don’t provide too...More
The hotel offers a great location, convenient to many attractions in and around the beautiful back bay. The workers were on strike during my stay limiting services to a degree. I will say that my room was cleaned and serviced for all but one of...More

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

I'm sorry, I don't remember except that it was expensive. We stayed there for the convenience of walking as we have been there many times. I think once we took an Uber mainly because we didn't want to drive. You might weigh the costs.
There is parking at the hotel. It’s pretty expensive. I think it was around $54 a day. If you are there on a weekend it might be worthwhile to drive around the area and find a parking space on the street.
