This is a large Sheraton hotel with an attractive lobby area and good service across the board. The room that we stayed in was comfortable but a little worn out. The hotel itself is located in a wonderful area with lots of restaurants and bars on the nearby Boylston street. They are also very close to the T. It is...

Last year we did not have a great experience while staying here during Anime Boston. We stayed here for 2 nights during the Anime Boston convention this year, and I am very glad we gave it another chance. Everything was perfect. The staff was wonderful, room service was prompt and yummy, and the room had a great view with club...

This was a great hotel. Conveniently located to just about everything in Boston. We were able to walk to most attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby. Attached to the convention center and shopping mall. Rooms were clean and well taken care of. Staff was available for anything you needed. Great place to stay.

After 3 nights of sleeping on blood stained sheets and two days of calling housing keeping, my last night I had the opportunity to sleep on clean sheets. After the first call, only the blood stained pillow case was changed. After the second call, the sheets were changed. I guess I should have stated "clean sheets" for special requests.

I was going to an event held in the Sheraton so opted to stay for the night. The King room I got had a door that could go to the room next door. I was disappointed about that because at about 9am, I heard people arguing quite loudly, though unsure if it was coming from the room next door or...

We were visiting Boston for the first time on a tour of colleges, and were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. The Sheraton is centrally located, making it easy to visit several schools in a short time. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and featured a spectacular view of the Charles River and the Cambridge skyline. We had an executive...

I stayed at the Sheraton for three days in April for a convention at the Hynes Convention Center next door. It was very pleasant--the room was bright and large, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. It was a quick walk to the convention center, and to the indoor mall. Both were adjacent to the hotel, so I...

Have visited Boston four times and stayed at the Sheraton on 3 of those visits. I honestly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. We've stayed in a Traditional room, a Junior Suite and a One-Bedroom Suite all with spectacular views over the Charles River and Cambridge. The Back Bay location...

I stayed at the Sheraton beginning of April for a business conference. The conference lunch was very good for feeding a large number of people. Probably better than some wedding food I've had. I had a kind size room. The room was very nice. The bathroom is a bit small so the door is pretty close to the sink. The...

This Sheraton was certainly on par with every other Sheraton I have stayed at-- if not surpassing the traditional Sheraton standards of a spotless room and comfortable beds. The only things that make me detract one point were: -No room available at check in for me and my friends out of our group of 13 (we were 3) and it...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
