I have a king room in the south tower which I was told has been renovated. I would say it was a light renovation, new carpet, chair, curtains etc. The room is very big with a nice comfortable bed, desk and chair, and a big flat screen tv. The bathroom has been nicely updated, it's very small but it has...

It is not often for me that the person behind the counter is open to bad joke and endless request. But today at the check-in counter a wonderful thing happened that truly set the beginning of my day in right direction. A young lady named Samantha did her job with a great sense of humor, and smiles, all the while...

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights from 4th-8th October for a quick city break in Boston. Used the Back Bay Logan airport express ($5pp) which stopped right outside the convention centre then a quick walk round the corner to the sheraton - much cheaper than a taxi) As we arrived at the hotel around 9pm check in...

I cannot rave enough about my stay at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. I stayed two weeks ago with a couple of friends to celebrate our birthdays. From the moment we arrived, this proved to be the best stay we've had! The staff is absolutely one of, if not the best, staff I've encountered during my travels. I travel a lot...

My husband and I visited Boston in early October and stayed at the Sheraton back bay. The hotel was very nice with beautiful views. Our stay was made better due to the staff at the Sheraton. Tom and Glayson made sure we had a great view and a quiet room. After searching so many hotels for this trip I am...

The Boston Sheraton is a huge property (1200 rooms) that has a lot going for it - location (close to restaurants and adjacent to a shopping center with a food court as well as a grocery nearby). The staff is very friendly. I had a room in the newly renovated north tower. It was a large, clean room - but...

Hotel located next to Prudential Tower and across the street from Hilton and Northeastern University. Very spacious and spread out for convention, shopping, walking the area. Enjoyed the location while in Boston for a recent convention.

I really enjoyed the Sheraton in Boston. I had the nicest gentleman assist in getting a refridge for my personal use in the room. He brought one fridge, and then came back to bring another freshly cleaned minifridge as he said it was already nice and cold. Hiring people like Johnnie Moxam makes this hotel very customer friendly and feel...

I highly recommend the Sheraton Boston for work or pleasure. I was there for both and the courteous staff, from the bell staff to the concierge, were exceptional. Helped orient us as first-time visitors, helped us get around and get attraction tickets, great service with room all in an ideal location to walk about and at a great price. Can't...

Location is great, but the hotel is starting to look tired. It would have been nice to have a safe in the room. Rooms were clean but the bathroom was tiny. Also it would have been nice to have a safe in the room.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
