Thank you for the great review. I love the style. Short, sweet, to the point, and spot on. Indeed our focus is on the guest. You are the most important aspect of our profession. Without guests such as your self, we would have an amazing building in the best location going to waste. It is our great passion to serve....

Visiting the world figure skating championship in Boston, we were lucky enough to be able to stay in this hotel for an excellent rate. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the entertainment system more than adequate. The service was great, very friendly staff and the location is probably the best in Boston.

Perfect stay! The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive, the room was lovely and luxurious, and the location is great - right across from the Boston Common and close to nice shops. This hotel has a lot of history, and I've stayed here before when it was a Ritz Carlton. It is still being kept to the...

The hotel is located right off the Public Gardens and is walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. Staff at the hotel was extremely nice and attentive. Our room was clean and had great wifi service. It 's not an inexpensive hotel so I can't say it's a great value, but I highly recommend a stay here if you...

Loved the location. The view was terrific; you could see the garden area across the street. it was pleasant to take a walk there and relax. We were also close to a T stop, which was very convenient. Don't stay here. it was the worst experience from start to finish. Not very luxury....at all. THe food was meh - the staff was slow. Nothing that warrants even three stars The gym is okay - they upgraded a part of it but the hotel is old and needs to be modernized.

I booked this hotel for an weekend event in Boston and had an amazing stay. We had a group of three rooms and even though we were only supposed to get rooms with an inside view, we were put in rooms with great views of Boston and the Boston Common (plus we were given rooms on the same floor even...

The Taj Hotel occupies the space that used to be The Ritz. It retains all the charm of an old hotel, yet you can enjoy the amenities of the present as well. Set on one side of a beautiful park, convenient to all of Boston by foot. Great food in a lovely sunlit room. It's a great place to stay.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
