Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

Traveling with my wife and infant daughter. Had to stay an extra night last minute because wife got sick. Jones at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. Kudos to him, I hope management reads this.

Stayed here for 4 nights because of work. This is the only property that has actually managed to look at my requests (high-floor, foam pillows). I have stayed over 50 nights in various properties last year and none of them had ever checked this. So huge props to this property.

Stayed last night for business and everything was flawless. Doorman greeted by name the whole time I was there. Check-in was a breeze and the rooms are recently remodeled cuddle large and well-lit. Well done Westin!

I don’t believe it is. The Westin and the Marriott can be reached by walking through copley place but not the Fairmount

Sorry but the Fairmont Copley is a stand alone building but right across the street. If you are not from Boston, the Fairmont is where you should stay!!! It has the old High End Boston Elite Charm that is positively beautiful!! If you appreciate architecture and detail not found in newer hotels, take advantage of the opportunity!! You can always stay at a Westin.

If you are speaking about the worker protest, I don't think that is affecting the hotel.

The hotel formerly had a pool (some websites still list it) but the hotel added a brand new Executive Club Lounge over the space previously occupied by the pool on the 5th floor. The gym, however, is large with modern equipment, also located on the 5th floor.
