Hands down, one of the best hotels I have stayed in over the last few years. We are 30/40 year olds, who came for a conference. We were looking for big room, excellent service and walk-ability. This had all three.
The staff was phenomenal. Every...More
Returned to Boston after 30 years! and wanted to stay in Back Bay. We chose the Westin for our family, staying in two rooms but the original booking got messed up by our travel agent as we wanted both rooms close together. The hotel staff...More

The renovated rooms are very nice! Hardwood floors and new furniture give the rooms a clean feel. Do ask for a room on a high floor, AWAY from ongoing construction/renovation work. The SPG desk was so super welcoming and friendly. We stayed here over a...More

I am a Westin fan - the gear program, the quality of hotel services - but I had a horrible stay in this hotel. Renovations occurred above my room ALL NIGHT. Loud banging, dropping heaving equipment, scraping. It took over an hour of complaining and...More

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

Westin, Marriott, Mandarin Oriental, and Sheraton are connected by the huge Prudential Center shopping complex. There's no need to walk outside in increment weather. Hilton, Fairmont , Courtyard, Colonade, Copley Square, and many other hotels are within walking distance but have to walk outside.

No pool - but fantastic upgraded fitness center - even a peloton bike - AND you can use the Marriott pool on the other end of the wonderful Copley Place mall (you don't have to go outside to get to it).
