We stayed at this hotel in August right in the middle of the rush of 250,000 students heading back to college. We booked through Hotels.com. The location is walking distance to the college as well as various shopping and tourist spots. When we arrived we asked for a view of the river and were given a wonderful room (overlooking the...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us during college move-in time. It is a particularly busy time in the city so glad you found the room "wonderful" and we were able to help with shipping. I couldn't agree more that our views are wonderful - in winter and summer! I'm so glad we were able to provide you with...

We had a beautiful view from our room at the Westin and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is amazing and perfect for sightseeing in Boston. The staff was very helpful and upgraded our room. We were on a high floor and it was pretty quiet.

I stayed over valentines day and there was a blizzard so it was nice that the hotel was connected to a mall plenty of restaurants and food. The location was awesome great part of the city. The price of the hotel was a little high for the rooms that you get. It should be a little cheaper. The hotel bed...

We take a short trip to Boston every Christmas holiday and have stayed in the Westin for the past seven years. It is ideally located in Back Bay and connects to the Prudential Center via an enclosed walkway which means you can check in, leave your bags and your coats, and head out for great restaurants and shops.

I frequent the Westin Copley Place for for business, and really appreciate the new elite check in program they started over the last year. Instead of waiting in line for check in and going through the whole check in process, eligible guests stop by a small desk in the lobby to retrieve their room key. If upgraded rooms are available,...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
