Beautiful architecture. The staff was so far friendly. Our room was tiny. Like really tiny. But just for the two of us it'll fit. There's so much to do in the city it's not like will be here much. The price that we got on hotwire it's definitely worth it.

This hotel is in an excellent location to walk to dining, shopping, historic sites and entertainment. We were in town the weekend of 1-7-17 during a blizzard and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Kudos to the front desk, concierge and bellman - you have a great staff on your hands!...

I stayed her over St. Patrick's Day weekend which corresponded with the Seafood Expo at the Convention Center. I got a great room at a really good price booking just one week ahead. I requested a room on a lower floor near the elevator since I am in and out a lot and have a lot to carry. My 4th...

Loved the location and will return again. Very accessibly to restaurants and shopping. The view could have been better and the creamers were spoiled but the rest of the stay was great. The hotel bar was very upbeat.

for the location of downtown boston - the price and hotel accommodation was good. do not expect any frills or great customer service. my first choice was InterContinental but was completely booked (surprisingly) and cost $400.00 per night. Mandarin was also booked - another surprise??? was told some half marathon was going on during the weekend.

Some complaints about this property but they are just nitpicking. Small windows in the rooms. I think because of the buildings prior use as office space. Great check-in with friendly staff and nice comfy rooms. We stayed on the 15th floor so no noise above us. Fast elevators with key card access. Housekeeping always did a great job. Definitely a...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
