The Downtown Hilton/Fanueil Hall Hotel is perfectly located for the perfect vacation experience. My wife and I recently stayed for four nights. It is within easy walking distance of many things to visit or sight see. We even walked to Fenway Park (2.8 miles) the day of our game so we could experience Newbury and Boylston Streets and see things...

Great location but the building is in a tight block so views are VERY limited. Lot of construction around so can be noisy. Staff was friendly, no issues with service. I would stay again but in reality, if you are coming a true vacation, a view is important. Thats not here.

My son and I stayed with my parents for 2 nights in a well appointed room. My Mum and I are both Hhonors guests. On arrival the receptions was rude. On my parents' early morning (2am) departure, same receptionist did a wake up call for them (therefore knew there departure time), advised them they must return keys to front desk...

Yes, the location is convenient, but one would hope for a bit more. Stayed a number of times over the last six months (at rates ranging from $300 to $600), but after my last visit at $600 a night (and $300 for early departure), can't really figure out why I would return. Stayed in a variety of rooms and none...

You will easily do the duck tour and Faneuil Hall from here. So good for the kids. The valet parking people make you a bit nervous though. They leave the car with ignition ON and insist on accompanying you in even if you express concern about the car running outside. "Never had one stolen yet !" Was the answer. But...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
