I stayed in this hotel for one night on business and absolutely loved the room. While on the small side, the room was incredibly warm and comfortable. The bed and bedding were very soft and comfortable with many pillows of different types. The fireplace was warming without overheating the room. The marble bathroom with stall shower had many amenities and plenty of room for toiletries on a shelf behind the vanity. The closet was large and well equipped. The desk was ample and had a comfortable chair. There was an espresso machine and a full minibar as well. I literally didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended.

Don't spend hours looking at hotels if you are visiting this area, just book this place! It was truly a wonderful experience every step of the way. This is old school service with modern amenities. Jeffrey and Myriam will greet you with a smile and take care of any questions you have. We were in a Contemporary Classic room and it was very spacious. First room I've ever seen with a Harman Kardon player and a fireplace! Small details that really make a difference - towel warmer, umbrella in the closet, doorbell to the room.

It is a great location - you can walk for shopping, Chinatown, the park, etc and if you want something within 2 miles, you can schedule a house car to take you! The drivers are so courteous and helpful - they have a lot of knowledge of the area and are happy to give suggestions. Trips are on the house except there is a $40 fee to the airport. Make reservations as early as you can so you can get your preferred time.

There is a steakhouse attached that we didn't have time to go to but we did order room service from them. This is the first hotel since lockdown that room service was available and it was very convenient.

Can't wait to come back to town and stay here!

I had the pleasure to stay at XV Beacon in early November 2022, in town for a public health conference. This boutique hotel is elegant and quiet, tucked on Beacon St away from the main hustle/bustle of the park but close enough to walk to the North end and all the historic sites. Just three blocks from the metro.
There were only six rooms on my floor so it was very quiet. I loved having the fireplace in my room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom of marble. The antique elevators gave it a Parisian feel. They also offer very personable drivers to take you to museums or restaurants. Just exquisite service! This is an elegant place to stay and I highly recommend it. I will stay here every time I'm in Boston!

It’s 9:30p on my wife’s birthday and I just had to check out of XV beacon due to zero competence. Hospitality is not part of their core values. A major feature of the room was not properly maintained and front desk did not have the authorization to offset the burden. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel on a significant night.

I loved this hotel. The location couldn't be better - easy to get to the North End and walk through Beacon Hotel as well as Boston Commons. The hotel offers two courtesy cars that do require advance reservation (doesn't that make sense?). One of the drivers recommended a fantastic restaurant to us (Grotto) which we never would have found on our own.

We had breakfast delivered to our room each morning - it was always on time and delicious with a rolling table that was beautifully set. Our travel agent wangled a $100 hotel credit which we used towards dinner at Moo which was the finest meal imaginable. Dinner was still over $150 even with the credit so it's not for the faint of heart or thin of wallet.

Most of the people working there were wonderful. There was one gentleman that seemed not to really care much about customer satisfaction and it took us a couple of hours to have some water brought to our room and that was annoying. But overall the experience was terrific and we will definitely stay there again when we're in Boston.

My fiancé and I stayed at XV Beacon for our City Hall Ceremony. From check in to check out everything was perfect. They offered to upgrade our room for the occasion. They also sent up a congratulations spread with chocolate covered strawberries and wine. The room itself was remarkable. (There was a fireplace and well stocked mini bar) We were on the 8th floor which had a great view of the city skyline. Bed was so comfortable with plush bedding and pillows. The jetted tub was great after a long day. They offer 24hr room service from their in house restaurant Moo that was delicious. There staff was very accommodating and they even offer a car service to bring us to City Hall even though it wasn’t that far but it was a cold February day. They truly made out special day more memorable. Every time we interact with them they made sure to congratulate us and wish us the best. We definitely will be back.

I booked this hotel for my husbands birthday weekend. Best decision ever!
The staff made everything so easy and were so accommodating. With Covid we were super excited to get out of the house and they let us check in early. Wow! It gets better. We even received a room upgrade and were able to book the fitness room just for us and were driven to we needed to go in the hotel car. I emailed a couple days prior to arrival to see if they could surprise my husband upon arrival by delivering whiskey to the room. The emailed me an extensive list to choose from and delivered whiskey as well as birthday cake. The room was beautiful and we loved the in room service from Mooo for dinner and breakfast. Super Covid safe protocols. Loved the disinfecting machines in each floor, pre wrapped remotes, silverware etc. I cannot thank everyone enough for making his birthday so special. We will be back

Our stay at the Beacon XV was wonderful. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Amtrak South Station (and the Silver Line stop from the airport), Boston Commons, and Faneuil Hall. At the same time, it is on a relatively quiet street.

The beds are comfortable, the staff welcoming (always a doorman to open doors for us), and the rooms clean and comfortable. The housekeeping even added little cord tamers for all our recharging cords! Our particular room suffered from a leaky shower, but the front desk is very responsive. One of the kids left behind a charger and housekeeping and front desk were able to find it and return it to us even beyond normal hours! I would recommend this hotel and stay again when we're in Boston.

Our recent stay at the XV Beacon hotel in Boston was excellent. The amenities and staff were outstanding. The room was spacious and very well appointed. The bathroom even had a towel warmer and they supplied bathrobes. They provided a shuttle service, which we used extensively to go back and forth to to various locations. Food service in the room was first class. Everyone we encountered were extremely cordial and accommodating. Boston is one of our favorite cities and now ever more so that we found the XV Beacon hotel.

I recently was in Boston for business and was told by a friend who lives in Boston to try XV Beacon! Wow! What a gem of a property. The staff were all so friendly and it feels as though you are stepping into a house with the small lobby with a fireplace and each room having a doorbell. And the elevators are really cool as they are old school! The hotel also has a really cool rooftop deck with fantastic views of the Back Bay and Cambridge. And the restaurant that is connected to the hotel, Mooo, serves fantastic food and has an expansive wine list. Centrally located so you can drop down into the Back Bay or to the waterfront in 10 minutes by foot. I would highly recommend XV Beacon the next time you are visiting Boston!

It is not complimentary. The 3 mile return trip to the airport from the hotel to the airport in our Lexus house car is $40. Our Lexus House Car is not permitted to pick up at the airport due to licensing however we can arrange a livery service for the transfer for $145. Taxis are also available.
