Room was clean, staff was nice and well versed in getting around! The room was large compared to others places. There were 4 adults in this room. Pool wasn't open for the season yet. 3 complaints...always had to call for wash clothes and was told we don't have any. the WIFI was not reliable. Could hear guests talking in next...

The hotel was ranked 2 stars when we booked it, so we set our expectations accordingly. Room was clean, bed comfortable. It offers complimentary Wifi, so good to work even though the room lacked a desk per se, the small dining table served the purpose well anyways. At a point, had trouble setting the room temperature, and good thing maintenance...

friendly , great location, good value , and better than expected. While dated on the outside and shaped like a 50's motel in the midst of modern high rise hotels, rooms are clean, large and the staff is extremely friendly

This is a great 2 star hotel, clean, close to everything, and great service. The rooms and bathrooms are small but the beds are super comfy. If you are looking for a place to lay your and spend all your time away from your room seeing Boston this is the place for you.

Too expensive for this type of hotel. Rooms are basic but very big. Wifi works fine which is nice. However the hotel is completely basic. Not a hotel to come back but ok just for sleeping with minimal conditions.

As usual,it was a pleasure to see the staff who are always cheerful and helpful. The room was terrific, clean, with a wonderful view, and plenty of room. Mark was especially helpful this trip and placed me near the elevator so as to minimize walking. Very considerate. We plan to take the sightseeing trolley next time , and it stops at...

Went through hotels.com for this reservation, was not at all what as advertised. Not only did I not get the room I booked, I was told I got a upgrade. More like a complete downgrade. The only clean part of the room was was the table. No lights in the hallway, I had to use my phone as a flashlight...

In a last minute effort, I booked a hotel and to my surprise I found a delightful hotel with great service and humble workers. For the price and location of the hotel, you can't go wrong! I look forward to booking my next trip to Boston with the Midtown Hotel and hopefully many more.

Joe was awesome, not only did he come out in the snow to get our bags but he chatted with us and got to know us. Very personable and full of knowledge. The hotel is close to the T which is awesome and there is a dunkin donuts and a Starbucks down the street. Everything is in walking distance or...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
