Great staff and location! Nice pool with lifeguard on duty. Children loved the pool. T station close by, also easy walk to Prudential Center. Beds very comfortable. Easy to find hotel off the highway.

person at help desk could not speak understandable English.. Feel that a person in this position should be able to communicate with guests. I forgot to get some things out of room closet when I checked out. Left town and remembered later that day after traveling a few hundred miles. Called hotel, they told me what to do. didn't get...

Everyone was great, but one of the girls at the front desk was super. She was dealing with several issues at once. Suddenly someone who didn't speak English came to the desk, so your employee started speaking in what MAY have been Spanish. I hate that I don't remember her name, but she had a short first name and short...

The rooms were more updated than the website showed. The proximity to T lines was helpful as well as being a walk away from newbury street and the Pru. The room was small, but fine for two people and the shower head was good and so was the water pressure. Most staff were friendly, others seemed annoyed.

Good location. Good price. Spacious clean, quiet comfortable room. On site parking. Really nice staff. Can walk to Fenway Park. Didn't realize there was such a nice looking sheltered private outdoor pool. Wished I had my swim suit. Nearby reasonable full breakfast, also cafes.

The room was fine. The air conditioner, though, is quite noisy and there was a mechanical noise outside the room that went on all night. The carpet in the elevator and in the hallways were dirty. The location is excellent.

For the price, you couldn't find a better place to stay in the heart of Boston. T stations nearby (within 3 minute walk). Hynes Convention Center just over a ten minute walk. Everywhere we walked also felt safe, even to Fenway. The hotel itself is older and not what you'd get at an upscale hotel, however I would rather save...

Stayed here for a conference where it was the budget "student hotel." The price at $129 was awesome and I don't regret saving $100+ over my colleagues in the huge chain hotels down the street. My room was clean and had good wifi, coffeemaker, iron, nice mattress, clean linens, working A/C. Pretty much all you require. Bring a WHITE NOISE...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
