My boyfriend took me to Boston for my birthday to a RedSox game. As everyone knows, Boston is not cheap! This hotel was a great price! and also in walking distance of the stadium, with plenty of bars & restaurants with a beautiful view! When we checked in, they upgraded us to a king suit. It was three rooms, extremely...

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your birthday in Boston going to a Sox game and staying with us. We are in the best location for out of town fans coming to games at Fenway Park. I will be sure to share your comments with our staff. Thanks for taking the time to provide us with the feedback.

Great location Back entrance is almost across the street from Fenway. Parking is tough and tight if during a Rod Sox game. Take the T in which stops across the street. Get $10 coupon for breakfast. Historic and eclectic. Right on Kenmore Square above Uno's Pizza.

We agree that the Boston Hotel Buckminster is the best location for guests going to Fenway Park. We have the best views from many of our rooms and we are only a "monster shot" from the Green Monster - only 297 feet from the hotel. That is a shorter distance than a home run in the ballpark. Thank you.

I stayed at the Hotel Buckminster for two nights in March 2016. I was there for a conference at Boston College. Originally, I was supposed to have another person staying with me, but she had to cancel at the last minute. I was surprised that my room had two separate bedrooms, which would have been great because I'm a light...

We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the accommodations during your recent stay. We have many different room types to provide a comfortable stay for up to six people. I am concerned with the comments about the staff and will be sure to address this with my management team. Thank you for your time.

This friendly hotel is close to the Boston subway & very accessible (we travelled in from the airport via the blue line & then green line). The hotel rooms are clean if a little tired. But the staff were friendly & helpful. We were travelling around and delighted to find a guest laundry (washer and dryer) on each floor. All...

Title explains it all, great location right outside Fenway park perfect for a baseball game. Room was pretty nice but not special by any means. Things like the outdated hallways and laughable "fitness room" we're noticeable. Biggest problem for me is price and I understand location hikes the price. wouldnt mind as much if room was nicer but a Mediocre...

We thank you for taking the time to provide comments on your stay with us. I am sorry to see that you didn't feel that hotel and services didn't justify the price paid. We maintain our rates comparable to hotels in the city and try to offer value for the price paid. If you would like to discuss this offline,...

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the service. Staff was very nice and helpful. Amazing location, minutes away from Fenway, nearby BU campus, great restaurants and bars very close by.

You can't get a hotel closer to Fenway. The restaurant is nice and offers a variety of options. The smoked turkey sandwich is excellent. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the laundry room is convenient.

You are right about how close we are to Fenway Park. It is only a two minute walk to the main gate on Yawkey Way and many of our rooms have a view of the Green Monster. I will be sure to share your comments with our staff. They appreciate the kind words. Thank you.

Good, safe and clean option in the Fenway/Kenmore Sq area. Fairly priced with a good breakfast place downstairs. There is no room service and parking is in a garage next door. The decor is not luxurious-more of a no frills place. But it's quiet, the beds are comfy and it has what you need.

A/C in room was weak, the gym had no water,TV,towels,A/C, and the treadmill was old and didn't work correctly. Otherwise, it was ok. Historical hotel in a decent area, next to Fenway Park, decent breakfast. Updating the A/C, and Gym would be a great improvement

An older hotel that has been updated but could use a few more amenities like a full length mirror and a mirror in the bedrooms would be helpful for the suite, since one bathroom for 2 bedrooms. Staff is courteous, room was clean, a breakfast discount voucher for adjacent restaurant was a nice extra.

Thank you for responding to our survey. We appreciate the suggestions and comments that you provided. Most of our rooms do have mirrors in the bedroom areas but a few rooms do not due to the configuration of the walls and furnishings.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
