Uniquely situated at the center of downtown Boston and its Financial District, this CQ hotel boasts walking-distance proximity to the waterfront, Government Center, and the city's famed North End. Housed in the Compton Building - which appears on the National Register of Historic Places - history buffs will appreciate being just a stone's throw from Post Office Square, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston Common, and the must-experience Freedom Trail. As we say here, wicked good.

Club Quarters Hotel, Boston, Faneuil Hall garners consistent praise for its cleanliness, with many travelers noting the spotless conditions from the rooms to common areas. The location is a highlight, offering central access to Boston's attractions, which guests love for its convenience. While the atmosphere is generally appreciated, particularly for the complimentary beverages, some guests find the room floors a tad dark. Reviews of the rooms and value proposition are mixed; some travelers regard them as clean and comfortable, whereas others point out issues with size, noise, and outdatedness. The service at the hotel is often lauded for its professionalism and attentiveness, and amenities like water stations and complimentary coffee are popular, despite some feedback on limited in-room provisions.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel in December. Location is great, right in the city Center and next to a metro station and you Do not to have a lot of street noise. The parking is not free as advertised on some websites and it’s a 5min walk distance form the hotel, but they give you a rebate for staying at club quarters so it’s reasonable.

The room was clean and had a very nice big shower.

What really made our stay amazing was the staff. We kept seeing the same 2 girls at the reception and they were the very best at customer service. They totally make it worthwhile to pay a little extra for the room. Keynessa and Jaryanna were absolute gems to us. So friendly and professional. We were more then happy every time we would bump into them. They would make us laugh, take care of my boyfriend who was illed and give us good advise on good places to eat.

We loved our experience and would 100% recommend.

Perfect location for exploring Boston, clean, warm and comfortable. But the thing that stood out the most to us was the very pleasant service. As soon as Tristine heard us say we were in Boston for part of our honeymoon, she was genuinely thrilled for us and upgraded us to a corner room, and allowed us to check in early. It was a real treat given we’d just got off a red eye. When we returned to our room later that evening she’d also left us with a lovely note wishing us well, with some popcorn, chocolates and ginger soda. It was a really great touch, we were so thrilled. Whenever we came and went from the hotel the rest of the staff were also super friendly and welcoming. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels around the same budget in America and this was streets ahead. Especially loved the free purified water and bottles on every floor - absolutely nothing worse than coming back at night with just paper cups of tap water to get you through.
We will be back to Boston and certainly will stay at CQ again. Thanks Tristine and team!

Everything that I could see about the hotel was great. The front desk made the checkin process quick fast and easy. The front desk was very helpful in assisting with directions and away to get around the town and even with using the subway train. I did not get a chance to check the workout room out but in the room there was a yoga mat and the TV had videos to follow along with at yoga sequence. The lobby also had a unlimited amount of water and coffee which was very refreshing.

I had to stay in Boston overnight for work and was super impressed with the whole experience. The room's small, but still has enough space for everything I needed, and the bed was comfortable (which was really the most important thing). The hotel is centrally located in downtown Boston, but I didn't get any noise from the street in my room. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff seemed genuinely attentive and concerned about the quality of my stay. The concierge gave me good recommendations for where to eat, and the front desk staff always said greeted me when I passed by the desk.

I booked through Agoda.com and they screwed up my reservation. Unfortunately if you book through them you cannot change your booking dates if you want to add extra nights. You have to checkout and check back in and get charged the $50 incidental fee over and over again. Tristine and Carla fixed it and also helped me get points for a free night. Rigo their maintenance guy also fixed my TV when I was having issues with pairing my iPad through Google Chromecast. They were really nice about it and accommodating and I highly recommend staying here. It is so worth it! Don't book through third party apps and websites. Just book through them through their app. You get better rewards and benefits anyways.

Staff were pleasant. Room was mediocre and service was poor once checked in.
Advertised as a 1 bedroom suite but was one room with a bed and sofa bed in the same room. We booked believing it to have a separate bedroom!! The old fashioned bathroom was tiny with a small shower with shower curtain.
We booked the “suite” for 4 people, but towels were provided for 2 people and there was no bed linen or pillows for the sofa bed.
We called down that evening to ask for towels, pillows and bed linen and had to continually chase up and it took an hour for these to be provided. Not good when you are tired and want to go to bed! There was no explanation as to the delay.
On check out we left luggage and were advised to leave 10 minutes on our return for our luggage to be retrieved. Luckily we returned in good time to collect our luggage as after waiting more than 25 minutes we had to go to reception and ask again for the luggage. Another 10 minutes passed before it came - others had been waiting longer.
So, beware of your timing if you need this service.
An expensive nights stay and a very poor experience overall. We will not be back nor would we recommend to others.

This was my first stay at Club Quarters back in early February as a little mini vacation to visit family and friends. The stay was amazing! Thank you Carla for making my experience a pleasure.

Instead of having to purchase overpriced water they have these water filter fountains with new empty water bottles which you fill up yourself.

Walking distance from the Orange and green line trains, and not too much farther from South Station. Around the block from plenty of shopping centers as well.

This hotel was a wonderful stay in Boston. The rooms are small, but efficient and functional. The beds are pretty comfortable, more so than many other hotel rooms I've stayed in. There is filtered refillable water on the floors which is really convenient and a complimentary specialty coffee machine in the lobby which was wonderful. Any request we had from the front desk was promptly addressed. And there is a restaurant that is partnered with the hotel that has good affordable food, very convenient for times when you may not want to venture out.

I selected the hotel expecting a little more updated facilities. When I booked did not say they were remodeling the place. The location is excellent walking distance to main attractions. The staff was very friendly . The room a little small but manageable. The bathroom too. You have a coffer machine in the room and free water bottles and ice outside the room.

Club Quarters was one pleasant surprise after another. First of all it is within walking distance of pretty much everything, including about 5 minutes to each color of the subway system (green (Park), red & orange (Downtown Crossing), & blue (State)). In fact the blue line from Logan Airport takes you directly to State Street, a few blocks from CQ. We had a suite which had plenty of room - nothing fancy but everything we needed, including a microwave & fridge. In the amenities room just off the lobby they have a coffee/cappuccino maker that we made frequent use of & they have filtered water with clean bottles in each hallway. Shower spray was perfect - we had one shower out of two weeks where they were short of hot water but that was really the only issue. Wi-fi was excellent & curtains kept the light out for some great sleeps. Staff super friendly & helpful. We got a very good deal on Hotels.com which made this hotel the best value I've ever had in Boston. Views are nothing great but we had room 717 which had a decent view down Arch Street. COVID protocols are good with required masking & lots of hand sanitizer.
Elephant & Castle food/service was a bit hit & miss but it is really nice to have an adjacent pub for a drink after a long day. Would stay again in a heartbeat if getting a good rate & would highly recommend.

Parking is located offsite, in a nearby parking garage. You get a discount from the hotel (make sure you get the ticket validated!). It is about a 5 minute walk, 1.5 blocks. Breakfast is not included to my knowledge, but you might be able to get a package with a room if you ask the hotel directly? I know they have a partnership with the Elephant and Castle restaurant next door, but we honestly just went to one of the nearby awesome cafes for breakfasts daily.
