We've stayed at the Mission Bay Motel many a time. We have relatives in Pacific Beach, but there is not enough room to stay with them, and so we always check in here. It's less then five minutes walk to the beach, and surrounded by various restaurants and shops all within walking distance. It has a traditional feel to it,...

I have stayed here many times before. The management have upgraded the rooms, a great improvement. Comfortable beds, quiet and only a few steps from the beach and local amenities. Air conditioning would complete the package.

Went down for a one night stay in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, Ca. Usually stay at the Beach Cottages, but two night minimum wasn't going to work for this Saturday night stay. It is an older property but they seem to be keeping it up very well. No in room phone(walk to the lobby or call on...

This place is clean and affordable if you're on a budget. It's also very close to the beach, just a short walk away. It's very basic, no hair dryer or coffee machine. Totally worth the price for the location! Great restaurants are close by as well.

Looks and smells fresh, traditional beach hotel, comfy. They even gave us a variety of pillows from soft to firm! Tile floors in bath, double-paned windows, very nice. Fun to people watch all the diverse folks walking around the boulevard. Wish we had gone in the clean, nice-looking pool. Nevertheless, due to the great location we just walked across the...

We wanted to be close to the beach to walk to it. This is a great location, walking distance also to restaurants, fast food, bicycle rentals, CVS, and Ralph's grocery. The room we rented had two queen beds, a fridge, gas stove, and furnished cooking supplies. There are no microwaves. Various types of people stay here: young families, single adults,...

I've stayed at the mission bay motel on several occasions. This is a no frills "motel" and is dated. However, my (non-smoking) rooms have always smelled good and have been clean which is important to me. This place is half the price of any other property on the strip and is in the heart of the city. It's a stone's...

Room was not bad, just noisy neighbors and no parking hardly, price was fair enough. Front desk really nice and courteous. Very thin walls. They had fresh coffee in the front office. This is the best you could get for the price and holiday weekend. Beach was right down the street. Parking across the street for 25$ for 7 hours....

With other Mission Bay hotels in the area running twice as much and booked for New Year's, this seemed like the best bet for our family of 5 to spend 5 days, especially since we didn't plan on staying in the room much. While we were all cramped into one room with 3 beds and with no extras like refrigerators,...
