We held a wedding here and it was beautiful on the grounds. The rooms had a nice décor and the beds were amazing. Best sleep we had all week! The food in the Bay Room for the reception was excellent. Very tasty and large portions. Overall everyone who stayed at the resort had a great time (excluding no sun due...

This was billed as a 4-star hotel and falls nothing short of a cheap motel. Service is non-existent, rooms are sparce, walls are thin -- it is run down in every aspect. We are used to staying at 4-5 star hotels and willing to pay the price but this was ridiculous - overpriced plus plus plus motel parking outside your...

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I arrived after viewing the website expecting a great experience. Upon checking in, I found bugs in my bathroom and a room that was not clean overall. Carpets gross, paint peeling, the liner/curtain to close blinds was dirty and there were cobwebs in a few places.I immediately called, spoke with the manager,...

If your family likes activities, Paradise Point has a wide range of options for all interests. During our four-day stay, we walked, ran, biked, paddled, or swam every day. The island is small enough to circumnavigate by foot or boat, but large enough to have all the amenities you'd expect. Each suite seems to be fairly unique in layout and...

Leaving a top rated spa inland, we thought it would be fun staying at a more kitchy place on the water. After driving from Ojai, we went through some of the worst traffic I've ever experienced (even worse than a thanksgiving day traffic jam on the 405 a few years back), we arrived at Paradise point. We didn't get there...

We stayed two nights in June to celebrate the beginning of summer with several families from our school. Our friends, the Arcebal family, have been coming to Paradise Point since the early 1990s -- and for good reason. This place makes for a perfect weekend getaway. We had a great time and will definitely come back. The kids loved having...

This is the second time I have been to this property in 6 months to attend a conference. On the positive side, the grounds are well kept and attractive and the staff is very friendly. The food at the conference was above average. The main negative is the condition of the sleeping rooms and the unacceptable state of the bathrooms....

Paradise Cove was a great place to stay for both pleasure and business. We went a few days before a meeting was supposed to start and enjoyed the self-contained little cottages. Our rooms were clean and the food was great, especially the food provided for the meeting meals...surprisingly good for "convention" type food. Several things to do on property, plus...

Thank you for the review of Paradise Point Resort & Spa. It’s great to hear that you found our San Diego resort to be the perfect setting for a mix of business and pleasure, and that the conference meals were well above your expectations. I love that everything is self contained and you don't have to leave the resort to have a good time. The kids enjoy the pool, the miniature golfing and the surrey rentals. I have been coming here for many years and unfortunately, the upkeep of the grounds and ponds is not as pristine as it once was. Plus they need...

Think bungalows from the sixties but updated - spacious one story buildings on an island in the bay - very private yet close to everything. Lots of activities on the site or explore all that San Diego has to offer.
