We stayed at this hotel almost 20 years ago when our children were all under the age of five. It was a wonderful stay then and now we are staying here again and it is great. Friendly staff, beautiful pool and the rooms are comfortable. The location is the best. Just a block from the beach and right by all...

This place was amazing! Friendly Staff. Big, clean rooms! I took my family here for 4 days and we loved it! The proximity to the beach, local restaurants and coffee shops was so convenient! The front desk was very helpful and quick with a smile and quirky, witty sense of humor. We absolutely loved it here! It's in a very...

We spent 3 nights at Beach Haven, this was our first trip to California. We were looking for a clean, well located reasonably priced hotel. Beach Haven met all these requirements quite well. I would give them a solid 4 but for a few things that could easily be remedied. Please put some towel racks and hooks in the bathroom...hate...

Hotel was right off the beach, walk out of the place and it was a block away. Room was spacious and clean. Great location and great price. The staff was very courteous. Would recommend to anyone for a short stay.

We stayed at the Beach Haven for 2 nights with our kids and my parents. The staff was super friendly and accommodating offering advice on restaurants and sightseeing. They let us check in early and the rooms were clean and newly renovated. The best part about this hotel is its close proximity to the Pacific Beach area and it's incredibly...

I was looking for a place close to the beach to spend time before a conference. Even though I arrived before noon the friendly agent at the desk let me check in. The room looked like it had been recently remodeled. Everything was spotless and the mattress was one of the best I have had at any hotel. Best of...

I stayed here for one night on a business trip in their king suite. I highly suggest paying the extra $20-$30 for the extra space. The suites have a full kitchen and living room and makes your stay more comfortable. One deceiving thing that the hotel shows online is that it's on the water. This hotel is NOT on the...

Tripadvisor clearly skews toward "good value for the money", and this place certainly is a "good value", given the prices of anything else that is walking distance from the beach. I booked a King Suite, and we were taken aback upon initial entry. We travel all over the planet, and most places we stay, my wife says "This is lovely"...

Very good value for money. We'd only add a hairdryer to the room, install WiFi-repeaters and exchange solid soap bars with its liquid sibling. Very pleasant stay and great breakfast a quick walk down the boardwalk at Kono's.

!st, let me say, the staff are VERY nice. The place is clean ( see below re. hot tub) & secure. There are no coffee makers, 'frigs, or micros on the premises. Good coffee is a block away. The beach, the pier & the boardwalk are 1 block away & the neighborhood has many interesting shops, including good restaurants. Parking...
