Mudville Flats is great. We came for my moms birthday to stay in downtown San Diego for the weekend and it was the best time. The location is great, 5 blocks from gas lamp and 4 blocks from the stadium! The two owners are very nice, humble people and really accommodating. They are very knowledgeable of the area and were... The rooms are large and luxurious and best of all include a fully stocked kitchen! There is a grocery store close by for getting essentials. The location is fabulous for walking to many great restaurants, the water, and into the gas lamp district. The innkeepers are helpful and kind. The back patio/yard is a delight for having breakfast or just... More

My husband had stayed at Mudville Flats on his last business trip to San Diego and raved about it, so I tagged along this time. I can see why he liked it so much. Mike is a great host and couldn't do enough for us. This place has it all - mini kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom in a... More

MF was a fun place to stay. I loved the room, which had lots of space, a really good bed and a great location. The backyard was also nice to have although we didn't get to spend much time there and didn't get a chance to use the bikes. But it was good to know it was there. The location... More

Mudville Flats is a very comfortable place to base your San Diego holiday. It's not really a hotel, or a bed and breakfast, more a charming, well appointed and interesting studio apartment. Theres no room service, you have to do your own dishes if you use the kitchen & make your own bed etc. It's in a great location with... More

My wife and I wanted a place in the city so we would have a central place from which to see San Diego without a lot of driving. Mudville Flats was the answer. Michael and Linda have provided a very nice haven in downtown San Diego very near the gaslight quarter. Breakfasts are not included but there are plenty of... More

We stayed here during Comic Con. What a beautiful place. The owners were there to help us get settled in, showed us around the property and gave us directions to nearby food store and dining options nearby. The place itself is awesome with all the baseball decor. As a guy I was fascinated with all the items here. Walking distance... More

Perfect. Had no idea what to expect. It says it's an Inn. What I got was a luxury boutique bed and breakfast type experience that was charming, quaint, romantic and a world of difference from the usual corporate hotel feel that San Diego offers. The owners were on site. Helpful. Friendly. And informative. If you like charm and classy... Check... More

My husband and I were able to escape a few days mid week while the kids were home with grandma. We wanted to be near the gaslamp area of downtown.
