I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. Staff are super friendly and aim to please. I felt completely pampered. I loved the peaceful grounds. My head to toe massage with Christy was AMAZING! It was a massage, energy healing and therapy treatment all rolled into one deeply satisfying and healing experience. She is a true healer. The...

I was here for three nights for a business conference. I found the hotel to be clean and charming and the staff to be very courteous and helpful. Be aware that the buildings don't have elevators so if your room is not on the ground floor you have to haul your luggage up a flight of stairs. Also the hallways...

Had to switch rooms once due to an issue. Staff was very accommodating though and went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. The rooms could use some updates but overall we had a good stay. I would recommend not staying near the pool if you want quiet. On Friday and Saturday nights they have movie night...

First of all, let me start mentioning that people who work at the hotel and Spa are just phenomenal! My review is based on the whole experience – Hotel + Spa, I checked out few hours ago. I booked a room per $179 with the hotel directly to a romantic getaway with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Also booked...

Dear Vivian: Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on the areas of Spa and the Veranda exceeding your expectations, as well as those that did not fair so well. We are proud of our service standard offered to our guests, but we fell short in providing that excellent service to you. Please be assured that...

We stayed at the inn because we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice hotel while visiting San Diego for an event filled weekend. 1. First experience was the smell in the Garden wing. It smelled like sewer gas, so did our hotel room. The hall carpet and stairs were very dirty. 2. No elevator, it might have been nice...

This was a business meeting. It had been planned and reserved for months. I arrived at 4 pm, check in time. I have hip problems (trouble going up and down stairs) and needed a room with ground level entrance or an elevator. Never been a problem in the past. Only about half of the rooms at RB fill the bill....

Please note check-in time, it is 4 PM. When I arrived at 3:45 PM and my room wasn't ready, I was reminded that check-in time was 4 PM. I thanked the gentleman who was checking me in that I understood that and in 15 minutes it would be 4 PM and expected him to have my room ready! Five minutes...

My husband was atRB inn for business. I decided to join him and get some RandR. The inn is very nice and staff very accommodating The rooms were nice however smelled a little like mildew. Our room was by the family pool so it was a little loud at times. My favorite experience was the spa. From making the appointment...

First stay at this resort, but would definitely return if the occasion arose. The resort is definitely a golf destination, but certainly golfing not required to enjoy this destination. It is a low rise series of buildings with well done restaurants and pleasant areas throughout ... For example, several areas with outside/inside fireplaces, hot tubs, 2 pools (1 family pool)....

It's not exactly close to the attractions in SD but if you're looking for a getaway this is the place. It is really spread out over beautiful grounds and has an attractive good course. It's a great place for a business conference.
