We were very pleased with our stay. Room was clean, comfortable, and the double-bedroom layout gave us the option of giving our toddler her own sleep area so we wouldn't keep her awake before we went to bed. Staff was 100% courteous, helpful, and professional. It's a historic building, so we expected certain things to be a bit old (such...

We had a hard time with the elevator, but loved the hotel. Reminded us of Grandma's home in Illinois back in the day. The roof top was wonderful and our ancient legs made it once up those steep steps. Well worth it! What a view. Excellent food at adjoining restaurant. Location was close to everything and it was a wonderful...

It was a great location and a cute place to stay. Housekeeping was sad. They took away dirty towels and didn't replace with clean. We had to call to request more towels. The room had two paper cups and once we used them they were never replaced. The glass that was used was never cleaned or replaced.

When booking this hotel you need to be aware it is an old hotel. There have been updates but certain things are still "classic". I found the original hotel elevators something to experience. My husband however found it cramped and a little terrifying. The showers are ultra small, you barely fit in there and leaves no room for turning around....

This is a very old hotel. The elevator is impossible to enter. There is a very heavy door and then a gate (which likes to close on its own). It takes two hand to get in and out of this contraption. If you have luggage (most visitors do), you are out of luck, and there is no one to help...

My sister and I spent 4 nights here the end of March. Everyone was helpful, kind and seemed to go out of their way for us. It is a beautiful old hotel. My only caveat would be that it is a vintage property and is unlike the regular chains, some people don't care for that but that was just one...
