I recently stayed there for 6 days for a convention. The hotel itself is otherwise very good - excellent location and good quality. I did experienced two problems that are worth noting. (1) After I returned home in the evening, my credit card notified me a new charge from the hotel for $11.28. I called the hotel next day; a...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Best bet for downtown San Diego in the Gaslamp. The location is ideal: 10 min walk to great restaurants on 5th, 15 min walk to SeaPort Village/Headquarters, right across the street from the convention center! Hotels on the other end of the Gaslamp Quarter seem sketchy because of their proximity to the Center of Justice and the big jail. At...

We can't wait to have you stay with us again, kimmy8614! Thank you for complementing our wonderful location. During your free time, I hope you had the opportunity to explore what San Diego has to offer. In addition to the surrounding restaurants and bars, there are also other alternatives to explore. We had an average stay. The rooms are updated and relatively modern. There is a Hilton Honors floor for people with plenty of points. We had a suite on the top floor facing the convention center and Coronado Island; a great view! We happen to be there the weekend of the Shamrock Half Marathon. It was exciting for participants, but...

Right across the street from the Convention Center and near the water to catch the water taxi/ferry (next to Joe's Crab Shack) over to Coronado. Wonderful restaurants right at the hotel's doorstep. Nice decor. Small but comfortable king loft room.

The internet is terrible. You constantly have to log back in with your Hilton Honors number. Its slow and they try to up-sell you on faster internet. The "fitness center" is a joke. The bar is extremely small. The location is good and the hotel is clean and the staff was great. But, its not a good value.

Excellent service from a hotel well sited for the bustling Gaslamp Quarter. Comfortable and well appointed rooms in excellent condition and thoroughly well maintained. All of the staff with whom we interacted were very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.

Old amenities, basic service. Overall clean but lacking of any basics hotel requirements: fridge bar empty, no hotel info book in the room, extremely basic concierge (not even a map of the city to be found!) Breakfast was absolutely terrible, poor quality food, dirty floor (waiter kept dropping coffee over tables and floor carelessly). Really not impressed given the price...

Love this hotel. The location is great if you are going to a convention. The Loft rooms are fantastic! Always top notch service. It is smaller than some of the larger hotels so it is easy to get in and out.

We recently stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The hotel itself was just okay. Nothing special for a business type hotel. We upgraded our room and were given a two room suite on the third floor. The room was clean and spacious although furniture was not too comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't pay attention to other reviews advising to get...

My mother and I stayed several days at this hotel. We loved being so close to such wonderful restaurants. We also experienced the best hotel service I have ever had. The front desk and bellmen were absolutely accommodating. I can't wait to come back to San Diego and stay longer.
