The location was great, right in the middle of downtown. The entrance might a little difficult to find. Staff were very friendly and the room and bath rooms are room. There are events going on almost everyday to anyone can participate and meet new people.

I attended a conference in San Diego and decided I wanted to stay close to the conference center. The surrounding hotels were out of my budget, so I looked into hostels. USA Hostel San Diego was conveniently located a few blocks away from the convention center. I selected to stay in a private room. The room was big and open,...

Came for the WBC games at Petco Park. Super easy access from the airport/Amtrak, just a few blocks away from major bus/light rail lines which will take you all over the city. Went to Balboa/zoo on my off day via metro. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, this was a fantastic stay. Got to chat with other travellers as well, nice lounge...

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience ! We got into our room and realized they double booked our room and couldn't accommodate our needs. We ended up having to look for a different hotel. :/

Excellent hostel, stayed for about a week, provides excellent services, such as Shuttles, soccer games, discounted tickets. Rooms are very clean too and location is prime. Highly recommend to anyone traveling alone or with company. My only problem was a construction that they were doing everyday in the morning that woke everybody up at 7. I didnt mind because I...

One of the coolest places I've stayed at. The staff were all very helpful and provided lots of information on fun group activities and the services provided. Accommodations including rooming, showers, restrooms were all very clean and up to par. Loved the breakfast provided in the morning and environment was inviting and fun. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed in a 4 person room and it was tight but so much fun! Would recommend for anyone eager to make friends. The people you meet at the hostel really are the highlight of the trip. The location was perfectly central to just about everything in the city and really left us with an incredible impression of San Diego!...

My daughter and I took a cheap flight to San Diego for an adventure not really knowing what we'd do once we got there. We pre-booked the Hostel so we'd have to 'mingle'. Our dorm-mates were great-it was very cool to have all sorts there-some were business travelers, others just on vacation. The room we were in was a dorm...
