I spend two nights at the Marriott Del Mar on a recent business trip. The hotel was very conveniently located just off of I5, which was nice for easy accessablity. As with all the Marriotts I have stayed at, it was very clean, the rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable. The hotel staff was welcoming and friendly. I ate two...

The food in Arterra is really something! We appreciate your mention of the new menu. It is smaller than the previous menu, but designed for a more economical-great food expereince. Thanks again for the survey, and we hope to see you back soon.

We spent a weekend at the Marriott Del Mar and were not disappointed! It's about an 18 mile drive to San Diego straight down the freeway. The hotel is just off the freeway so it's easy on, easy off. We did some sightseeing in San Diego and the drive in both directions was not a problem. We booked through Travelocity...

We are really known for our sushi. Chef Andrew is one of the most talented sushi master in all of Southern California. That is a big claim, but you already had his great fish. thanks for the survey and the comments about the staff. They care. Each of these surveys on Trip Advisor is like scoring a points in a...

My wife and I stayed here with our 1 year old daughter this past weekend and found it to be a very good hotel. It was convenient to get to and check-in was very quick. The self-parking structure ($20/night) was very close to the lobby entrance and easy to get in and out of. The room was spacious as was...

Sorry about the delay in getting a crib up to the room. Traveling with small children can be very stressful if the basic things are not right. I hope you had a chance to dine in our Arterra Restaurant. The new menu is really family friendly. Thanks for the survey.

Many of our guest travel with their pets. Like me, they are another member of my family. We are really glad you had a great stay with us. I think we have a great collection of extraordinary associates who give their best every day. I will be recognizing Michael for his service at our next hotel town hall meeting. Thanks...

We stayed at the Marriott Del Mar Thurs - Sun this past weekend and had a great time! We didn't take advantage of the pool and most amenities, but the rooms were spotless and the staff was very sweet. I had a great experience and will continue to book at Marriott.

There is nothing like a weekend in Southern California! Thanks for choosing our hotel. I get to read these review out loud to the hotel staff and call out the individuals for their great work. It is one of the great points of my role; recognizing individuals for their performance. Thanks again, and we are so glad you had a...

We enjoyed our stay. We bought the rate that included parking and as a Gold Marriott Rewards member, they gave us the weekend breakfast. The restaurant does not do a buffet, but provides a good individual breakfast. We had a noisy neighbor and the front desk was effective at addressing the situation. In all, a professionally-run property.

Sorry about the noisy neighbors. We actually patrol the hallways on busy nights and ask individuals to lower the noise. Sorry we didn't get to your hallway before they disturbed you. We appreciate your kind words and your feedback. Thanks for taking the time to fill out a review with Trip Advisor.

Stayed here for business. Parking is pricey and so is the in-room WiFi. The soaps and shampoos smell like men's aftershave or cologne. I smelled like I'd drowned in men's aftershave all day at my client meeting. Not cool. The bed and rooms are extremely comfortable, however, and the room service food for breakfast is pretty good but nothing out...

Spent 3 nights at the Marriott del Mar, got in a little late, tired, hungry. Michael Bakhos was very helpful and took good care of grumpy customers. From the onset a very good impression of this hotel; easy to get to from I-5, we received a room 4 hours before normal check in, free parking garage and only minutes from a great beach.
