I love this hotel! The atmosphere was awesome, rooms were spacious and clean, employees were all very helpful and courteous, and the location was central to all the best San Diego restaurants & bars. I will definitely be returning.

The location is perfect! In the heart of the Gaslamp quarter filled with bars and restaurants. Also, 10 or 15 minute drive from the zoo, the airport and other attractions. Rooms are spacious, staff are extremely helpful and friendly, no complaints!

Right when we checked in, everyone was so accommodating. Peyton, who was the lady that checked us in, was so nice and made us feel very comfortable immediately. The Valet gentlemen were amazing and very attentive. I would say the only bad thing about the hotel is having to wait 5-8 minutes for your car, but it is understandable because...

Coming to San Diego and want to stay downtown? Consider the Andaz. My office held its holiday party at the Andaz and we stayed in the Sweet Suite. It's a grand room, perfect for the pre-party we hosted. We had about 20 people over and the staff was really helpful and accommodating but the best part of the stay was...

Even though our stay at the Andaz San Diego wasn't entirely spotless the staff did an amazing job to make sure that we had a good stay. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great, the weather wasn't great during our stay but I imagine the pool area must be lovely when on a nice summer day!

I [incorrectly] chose this hotel for my honeymoon in San Diego, and stayed only one night. My immediate impression of this hotel was marred by the large homeless population milling about in the area. I decided to give it a chance since the hotel lobby was nice and the staff all seemed well dressed, giving a positive impression. The rooftop...

I couldn't get a room in the gigantic conference hotel. Turned out to be a good thing. The Andaz located in the heart of the Gaslamp District is smaller, more personal, and helpful. Things worked out for the best.

My initial experience of Andaz San Diego was a little let down. Although front desk was very accomodating due to our early arrival, the room they set us up with was in a hall way that smelt like industrial cleaner. The signature king was quite small and not suitable for a honeymoon stay. The room had peeling wall paper and...

Great location in the Gaslamp Quarter within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. The queen room was not large but very well appointed and attractive. The clear glass wall between the bed and bathroom was a bit unnerving at first but gives the room a very quirky feel. This feature would make it very awkward if you are sharing the...
