For what we payed to stay here for a week we were very pleased. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, nice pool, right next to the freeway, a good base to explore San Diego and the surrounding area.

Really good facilities. Kitchen, microwave, fridge, ice machine, laundry I was here for training, so kitchen (for healthy food), laundry and ice machine (for injury) were necessary...This hotel was perfect for my needs... Staf very professionale (Jessica change our first room that was too close to the street and noisy). Position is good (near gym and also near all main things...

California Suites Hotel has an old school LA feel. If you appreciate grungy 80's style, then you might like this place. I personally liked the feel of it. The layout was confusing and labrynth-like. The room numbers don't seem to be arranged in any particular order, they are just kinda scrambled. We had a hard time finding our room, but...

I partially blame Travelocity for this stay. We overpaid for a Queen room that was listed for 4, but barely held 2. Room we booked was to have sofa sleeper or roll away. Neither were available. I will be sticking to chains I know and will not trust Travelocity for hotel reservations again.

All night conditioner sound like Railroad Noise Machine! Couldn't sleep at all! We booked 2 kitchenette rooms 9 months in advance for 2 families for 7 nights, in time we arrived one family get a non kitchenette room with not working conditioner, when we ask clerk to change the room (in 30 min. after check in) he said, what they...

I've stayed here twice. It's not a grand hotel but worth the price you pay. Their facilities are okay. The bus stop is just a few steps from the hotel if you don't have a car. The restaurants are just near. I just walked going to walmart. A 10-15minute slow walk is not bad. Hotel staffs are accomodating. I checked...

Stayed for 5 nights. Clean but plainer room with kitchenette but no dishes. Staff very helpful; kept my room clean and neat; maintenance provided an immediate fix to leaky toilet. Breakfast simple but plentiful. Grounds very clean and trimmed; pool and jacuzzi clean and fresh each day.

This hotel is a large motel type place with people renting by the week, month, and like us by the day. It is not in the nicest part of town but is very secure. The room has everything you would need to stay longer than a day. There is no open computer to book flight arrangements, and the staff person...

this place is just disgusting, the pictures are not real, no room I saw looked anything like the pristine rooms shown. The front desk staff is rude, loud, untrained and unprofessional. The staff, including at least some of the front desk staff, all of the housekeeping and maintenance staff are illegals. I asked to speak with the manager because the...

This is a place out of the hub-bub, which we wanted. Great pool, clean rooms and location is close to restaurants and stores. Breakfast is nothing more than coffee and frozen bagels, Mc Donalds is next door. Internet connection is HORRIBLE, so bring a good book.
