We travelled as a family of four and spent four nights at this hotel in mid-august. The hotel is clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, even our partial-view room had a great ocean view. The rooms are very quiet. When we closed our sliding door, it cut out all the noise from outside, and we all slept well. The neighbourhood is animated and busy but in a pleasant and friendly way. Pacific beach, in general, is very fun and friendly. They also rent (10$ per item per day) any beach things you need, such as boogie boards or umbrellas. Overall, our favourite of the four hotels on our trip. If it fits your budget, go for it. Things to know : - Parking is 30$ per night, which is on the pricey end. There is public parking around, but it is scarce. - Bathrooms are a little small and have only a shower and no curtain pole, which makes it difficult to try bathing suits or towels (but they do change your towels daily). - There is no restaurant in the hotel itself (so no included breakfast either), but tons of options for all tastes around the area…

This hotel was in a wonderful location. They are in the midst of remodeling, but the workers were professional and kept it so clean. The room and view was fantastic and such a great price. The entire facility was clean and smelled new.

AC/Heater did not work. We notified the hotel staff which they sent blankets and then sent maintenance and he could not fix it and that was it basically no other room was offered. We ended up checking out in the middle of the night and driving home 3 hours.

It was 5/5 experience by all means, very nice location right away to the ocean, many restaurant are in walking distance and most importantly very friendly staff. The service is as good as the beachfront view! Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars! The entire staff is friendly and so helpful. The hotel was clean and well-maintained throughout the day. We look forward to returning!

I greatly enjoyed my stay. The bed was so comfortable, the hotel staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. The ocean view was so nice. The patio had very comfortable chairs for endless time viewing the ocean and the waves. I will definitely be staying there again.

Blue Sea Beach Hotel is right on the beach opposite one of the few openings in the sea wall to the beach. The pool is heated and the hot tub is great. Rooms were spotless, though a bit worn. Beds were new and very comfortable. Adequate water pressure in the shower. Lots to do in the area. We enjoyed kayaking to sea caves a few miles north. Staff was very helpful, except at check-out they only let us keep one of our 2 rooms until noon (vs. 11AM). We'll stay here again if we return to San Diego.

I stayed here for a birthday weekend in PB and it was so perfect! The hotel is in the perfect location that’s walking distance from anywhere and everywhere that is fun! Coming back from our night out, these beds are the most comfortable thing you’ll sleep in. And the beach in literally in the back years of this place. It’s gorgeous!

I stayed here overnight and couldn't recommend the location more. It was right on the boardwalk making it extremely convenient. The room itself was on the smaller side, but was comfortable and had everything I needed for a night stay. Would definitely recommend!
