Positives, large rooms, very well kept gym, beautiful surroundings, well organized and pleasant staff. Negatives: the little things, dusty in the bathroom on little things like the top of the light switch and lamp shades, the fertilizer they use smelled so bad of skunk on the grounds at night that I thought people were smoking marijuana but if thats what...

I highly recommend this Hyatt Regency if you want to be in a great location to explore the San Diego CA area. The hotel is within minutes to Mission Beach and surrounding tourists attractions. The staff is professional, eager to assist . There are three restaurants to choose from plus room service. We dined at Einsteins, Red Marlin for breakfast...

The location was nice. Great pool for a family. The rooms were fairly clean, a bulb was burned out in our bathroom. The noise, however, was fairly loud. We were facing the bay and the balcony door did not keep the sound of cars, boats and seals out very much at all. I had to use earplugs...lastly, our air conditioning...

Although the property had some wear and tear, you could not beat the location and views. The hotel was mediocre as far as interiors go, but NONE of that matters. It's set in a perfect part of Mission Bay. It's easy to access from the airport and the staff is very friendly. Also, I love the firepits. This hotel had...

It may not be a brand-new property, but it's been well maintained and I found it clean, welcoming, and hospitable. I felt like I was staying at a friend's. The service was top-notch, too. We stayed in the "motel" type portion to enjoy the large suites and balconies. The room was bright and airy. We ate twice at Swim, the...

Nice hotel for traveling with kids. Water slides are great. Enjoyed the Red Marlin, but hotel would benefit from more food choices. Easy walk to ocean and nice view. We would stay here again. Service high quality.

I must say after reading the negative reviews I wasn't expecting a good experience. I had a "standard" room in the tower, on the 12th floor facing the ocean. The view was fabulous! There was a small balcony off the room where you can sit and enjoy the views. I found the room spacious and clean, although some wear and...

The Hyatt hotel in Mission Bay offers beautiful views of the bay with your own private balcony to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. The rooms are spacious and the grounds are beautifully tended. We enjoyed our stay. It's away from the congestion of the downtown area but easily accessible to all area attractions.

It was a relaxing weekend with my wife. The weather was really warm, other than that it was a good weekend. We really didn't do much out of the room. We had a great view of the ocean and pools. They have a lot of great things for kids and families. The staff was good, just like it normally is....
