I am a Hyatt Platinum member so I usually enjoy my stay at Hyatt properties when traveling but this was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. This hotel is very old and the cleaning staff doesn't do a good job of cleaning. As you can see from one of my pictures I found a chicken bone by...

Enjoyed a three night stay in a waterview suite. The property is well-maintained, though the suites can use a refresh. Pool area was a highlight and very much enjoyed by the children. Location on the marina was relaxing, with beautiful sunset views from the terrace. Easy access from the hotel to San Diego attractions. A very pleasant stay and great...

I'd never been to San Diego so following a business trip in Arizona I decided to extend and try The Hyatt. I had a waterfront room which had amazing views of the harbour and enjoyed my stay. Staff were knowledgeable of the touristy things to do. Hotel had 1 main restaurant, coffee bar and poolside bar all with good choices....

Maybe my room was substandard because I asked for 2 double beds (I'm small and feel lost in a king bed). Instead of being in the tower, I was in the main building on the second floor. One nice amenity was their fitness center which looked out on the marina. My room also faced the street so it's a good...

First room I got was really outdated and dark and the lights didn't work. This was on a second level "motel" type building. The second one the door didn't work. Also the "motel" like building. But the last room I got was in the tower - and by all means, INSIST on the tower. The view was wonderful. Despite the...

The hotel and grounds are nicely managed and clean. A courtyard area connect several hotel buildings. Visitors traverse the courtyard to enter and exit the hotel rooms. Beautifully manicured grounds, but a bit dark at night and confusing for first time visitors. No obvious restaurant or drink areas. Elevators are responsive, no long waits for elevators while in the tower.
