We stayed here to visit family and were shocked at the $25 per day parking fee on top of the already extremely high rates. I am a gold member and travel often for business and pleasure and would say this was the worst value for the money of any Marriott I have stayed at. Don't waste your money

Dear scubamaui, Thank you for writing a review regarding your recent stay at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley. I understand that you are not satisfied with our parking charges. We charge for parking to stay competitive in our market as other hotels in our immediate area charge for parking as well. I am sorry if this was not communicated...

A good time to be had by all. I enjoyed my stay as a first time guest in the Marriott Mission valley and I see myself coming back here for multiple times. For an initial review I think I should give credit to the front desk team who gets swamped by so many people. One individual of note is Alison...

Excellent hotel, great service and close to everything. A good business hotel, but do not rule out for just staying there. Service is excellent, rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Reasonable rates for this location.

Really nice property in Mission Valley. While not my favorite area of San Diego - I'd lived in SD for ten years - it's convenient to so much, including more or less easy freeway access to the 8, 805, 15, 163, etc. Very nice rooms, accommodating staff, very nice grounds, and very easy trolley access. Many dining choices nearby -...

I stayed at the Marriott Mission Valley for three nights in early March. I stayed in a room with two double beds. The beds were comfortable and the room had a small refrigerator and safe, which was nice. The room was okay but did show its age. The water in the bathroom never got quite hot enough and the pillows...

I stayed at this Marriott Mission Valley for a couple nights and had a good experience. It is in a residential/office park area with some fast food around, but not a lot of good eating choices. The area is safe for walking and the grounds are very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

After a business stay in Los Angeles, we spent two days in San Diego, and our choice was San Diego Marriott Mission Valley to stay. In general we like Marriott, and this Marriott did not disappoint us. We found what we expected. The rooms are specious, clean and nice. The location of the hotel is perfect; not so close to...

My husband and I stayed on February 12th for 1 night. We love the pool area. It is resort quality. I also love the view from the higher floors both west and east. The staff is great and I especially appreciate the concierge lounge staff. I would like to address a prior review that commented on alot of young people...

The rooms are the standard Marriott type. For a hotel that has not gone a whole lot of renovations since it was built; I found the hotel to be maintained in good working order. Internet was decent enough and free if you are a Marriott member and booked direct. The hotel has plenty of parking spaces for self parking, so...

The room was a lot less expensive than previous stays. Loved the price and the water pressure in the shower. It was a little difficult to find the refrigerator. I wished they had tea for the Kerrigan. Also enjoyed being able to take the train to dinner in the Gaslamp District.
