Had four reservations for Christmas: three on one day and one the following. Did mobile check in all all. Wife got to hotel several hours before me and checked into two of the rooms. When I got there, they told me mine was canceled. Showed them the reservations and finally they found all four in the computer. It took over...

Spent a night here while visiting friends in the area. A good hotel, just not a great one. Good staff who tried hard, but a bit tired in terms of lack of investment. Noise from the highway is a bit of a challenge. Understand that they have a major investment scheduled to upgrade rooms, etc....so maybe a significant improvement in...

Summary: I so wanted to like this property: walking distance from a trolly station, many luxurious features with all the ingredients for a relaxing, comfortable and romantic stay, but we left a day early because traffic noise from I-5 was slowly driving me mad. And we tried to remedy the noise issue by moving rooms - our initial room was...

Dear jnla87, Thank you for writing a review regarding your recent stay at the Marriott Mission Valley hotel. I am disappointed that, although you like our hotel and it has potential, you were not satisfied with the soundproofing and the air conditioning systems. We have a full public area renovation scheduled to begin in the first quarter of next year....

Good location with easy and quick access to interstate and local shopping. Rooms are on small side and could use some updating. Parking was oddly expensive considering you're not in a touristy area. Pool area is pretty nice.

This Marriott just recently passed from corporately managed to franchisee managed and it has been wonderfully upgraded both in service and amenities. The sunken pool and sunning areas make you feel like you are at a resort. The work out area overlooks the pool area and is well kept up. Parking is not bad for the area and the restaurant...

Perfect for people going to Qualcomm Stadium. I usually stay downtown and ride the train to Qualcomm but stayed here this time because it's close. It made getting to and from the stadium so much easier instead of fighting traffic or the crowds on the train. Nice restaurant and bar on site. Convenient gift shop too.

Just as other positive reviews have mentioned, I agree that this is an excellent hotel. Clean, decent size rooms. Trolley stop behind the hotel makes it a convenient location to get around most places in SD, especially to get to Qualcomm. But the best thing about the hotel is the people. Obviously well run, the culture is one of GENUINE,...

Flew to the left coast from NY for a football excursion and was pleased with this property. Clean room, friendly service, nice pool and exercise facility, and convenient bar/restaurant. Indeed, I like to single out the lovely young lady who worked the Thursday and Friday day shifts at the restaurant for she took care of we two thirsty New Yorkers....

In town for business meetings and the hotel is a solid offering that isn't as expensive as some other area hotels. I think it's also worth the savings to stay here and drive 10 minutes into downtown and save $100+ per night and not put up with panhandlers. Paying for parking at a non-urban hotel as I did here I...
