Huge shout out to Aaron Mendez at this property. Our reservation was mixed up through Alaska Air and he was persistent and super helpful throughout the process and worked on finding solutions. The property is very nice as well.
I called Loss Prevention shortly after checking into the resort and reported my Movado watch missing after I realizing it must’ve fallen off sometime between checking in and walking to my room on the 7th floor. The security officer that took the report, D, was very sympathetic when I told him the watch was a gift from my husband that I’d had for 20 years, and that it held great sentimental value for me. He asked what I’d been wearing and walked me through retracing my steps over the phone. Although he told me he’d review the camera footage, I was fairly certain the watch was gone, so was very surprised when he called me about half an hour later to say he’d reviewed the tape, and zoomed in to see the watch fall from my wrist while at the front desk! He then saw a Sheraton manager pick the watch up off the floor and was able to hold the watch in security until I was able to retrieve it the following morning. D went above and beyond, and I am so thankful that he was the officer that took my call that day. Not every employee would’ve gone to such lengths, so I send my heartfelt kudos to the Sheraton for hiring such an exemplary associate that so clearly wanted to make sure his investigation was thorough! Thanks again, D! 😃…
Dirty and old. The room was dusty and and I found dried french fries in the room. Carpets should be removed. Unfriendly and poor housekeeping. They knocked on the door even when I had do not disturb sign. Customer Service / Billing is unresponsive. Sad that this is a Marriott.
I stayed at the Sheraton San Diego Marina hotel and it was a very nice stay. The hotel sits on the marina where the boats are. This hotel has the main hotel and another tower which you walk along the marina to get at. This hotel has a airport shuttle, pet friendly, fitness center and pool. It also has a few restaurants inside and the cafe serves Starbucks coffee. The staff is fabulous and will help with anything you need do don’t hesitate to ask. I only stayed one night because I was leaving for Kauai the next day but will definitely stay here again.
I wanted ocean view because I was so stressed at work. I explained to them I want to relax. But the wine site was not telling me what room I get. They accommodated me and I was so happy !my family always have a good time here with friendly staff and clean hotel
We enjoyed our stay at sheridan marina in San diego. Beautiful views and accommodations. Arthur at the front desk had full knowledge and perfect personality. He was so helpful with sightseeing options and billing questions.
We are Lifetime Platinum Elite and just checked in for a conference. I can appreciate they are full due to conference, but a bit shocked we were placed next to the trash chute for construction, overlooking the construction lot with beeping of the forklifts Was trying to work from the hotel room while spouse was at his conference. Impossible! Went to front desk as well as called, no luck in getting moved. Room is in desperate need of an upgrade, very shabby, and in need of a good cleaning. Just very disappointing as we don't get to pick the hotel when we attends conferences but usually our membership level gets us a nice room and good customer service which is why we have been loyal to Marriott/Bonvoy. At check in and both discussions with customer service, no acknowledgment of our loyalty status, no welcome gift, no information of the property.…
Aaron Mendez checked us into the hotel. He was awesome!! He was super friendly and very helpful. We had an issue with our room, but Aaron corrected the problem quickly and got us on our way. Aaron made our experience with Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina a great one.
Incredible customer service! Arthur (at the front desk) was kind and efficient. During check-in, my husband mentioned that this was our first stop on our wedding anniversary vacation. Arthur immediately congratulated us and gave us a gift voucher for the hotel restaurant that was enough for our dinner. Restaurant was also tasty (relaxed) with large windows facing the marina. Would definitely stay here again for the service.
The hotel is nice, conveniently located, and has great views all around. However, what makes this hotel a 5 star in my book, is Victor, a service waiter in the breakfast lounge. Victor’s attentiveness to customers, comforting personality and demeanor, and unwavering attention to detail is the epitome of customer service! He puts smiles on the faces of his patrons, remembers them by name (even mine months later), what they ordered, their shared stories, and more. I’ll be back again :) and I’ll be back because when I’m here, staff like Victor make this place feel like an extension of home.
