I have mix feeling about that one - we splurged for my daughter ´s birthday with 4 of her friends and got a studio with bay view , and my husband and I got a garden view : cheaper , we just wanted to rest Great service : yes - the agent in the lobby were the most helpful and...

Stayed here based on great location and good reviews on pretty much every site. The location was great, but this property is WAY overrated. Wish I could give a zero to bring down the rating faster. Stayed in a nicely sized room in the bigger building near the front but was very outdated and none too clean. Housekeeping was poor...

Just came back from a terrific time at the Bahia Hotel. It was so relaxing sitting on our balcony overlooking the Bay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and Ricardo picked up that it was my birthday and baked me a small cake. Everyone made us feel special. I enjoyed the tropical paths, and ponds. Location was very convenient to Mission...

Our group enjoyed staying at the Bahia - the rooms were nice and clean. Our main meeting space in the Del Mar room was wonderful and had views of the bay. It had natural light and easily accessed the food & beverage during breakfast, breaks and lunch just outside. One of our sessions took place on the Bahia Belle, which...

When we first arrived here I thought we'd made a mistake as it seemed very busy and no where to park but this turned out to be a reasonable priced hotel option that we'd go to again. Rooms are large and comfortable. The bay view rooms are a bit disappointing as they look across a car park which is very...

Picked this hotel as a compromise between very high priced beach hotels and downtown San Diego hotels. It is located in a resort but the pictures are very misleading. The gulf view is not as nice as someone would expect. You can't see the actual ocean. The properties across the gulf are very unscenic. The gulf water is stall and...

Stayed here for a meeting in one of the retro one-story buildings. The room was so cute, and large as well! The hot tub was great - a large hot tub so I didn't feel like I was knee to knee with strangers. Great location, wonderful staff. The catering for snacks and meals for the meeting was also very good....

Brilliant 1950s design, it's like stepping back in time. Walking around, I imagined yellow 1957 Plymouth and Chevy Taxis coming and going. It retains a lot of charming fixtures and fittings from it's original days. The food was excellent, the service was excellent. The kitchenette in the room was very convenient. Short walk to Belmont Park and Mission Beach. Staff...

Beyond the Bahia, seemingly countless options offering an array of culinary experiences are just minutes away. For those seeking to spend their vacation on the water, Bahia Resort Hotel boasts an assortment of options. Headlining these choices is the Bahia Belle, an 1860s-era sternwheeler that tours guests around the bay nightly. Step back in time and enjoy a colorful sunset and views of the bay’s playful seals from the top deck, then prepare to kick up your heels as the vessel becomes a vibrant nightlife destination with live entertainment and a full-service bar. Additional nearby water activities include sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing and more though nobody will blame you for simply relaxing on our soft sand beaches or at our sparkling pool. Back on land, the Bahia boasts a fitness center, kids’ arcade, tennis courts and bicycle and Segway rentals. Within walking distance guests can also explore Belmont Park, an oceanfront amusement park featuring the Great Dipper, a wooden roller coaster and designated historic landmark built in 1925. Take in the picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean during a leisurely stroll on the boardwalk, go rock climbing, or play miniature golf in this popular beachfront locale. Traveling further afield is a breeze, as the Bahia’s location is ideal for those seeking to experience San Diego’s major attractions. The Bahia Resort Hotel is located directly across from SeaWorld and is within 10 miles from the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Downtown’s Gaslamp District and the San Diego International Airport.
