Stayed in room with kitchenette, 2 doubles and sofa sleeper. Quite roomy, cute with patio set on balcony outside room. Can walk down to beach, within 1 block away. Numerous restaurants, shops within walking distance also. Continental breakfast scant, with coffee and sweets, but only negative I experienced there. Kitchen had full size stove and fridge. Easy drive to seaworld...

The location was great go out the back of the hotel and you are at the beach. The staff is very friendly. The beds were very comfortable slept great. The rooms are a little dark but would not keep us from coming back. Very affordable for staying at the beach. Pool would be fine but not the reason to stay.

for the cost it was ok - the place is older. The water pressure in the shower sucked. It is just a block from the beach so a nice place to walk -

Pleasantly surprised at this motor lodge. It's an older renovated motel. The staff is very friendly, the room was clean and nicely appointed. I asked for an upstairs room so that I could catch a glimpse of the ocean and was accomodated without hesitation. Only 2 things that were unusual - 1) coffee makers in the room but no coffee...

The Pacific Shores Inn is situated close to the beach and is a superb location for exploring San Diego. It was close enough that the main places we wanted to visit (La Jolla and San Diego zoo) were within 15 minutes driving distance and at night, the place wasn't too noisy. There were a few local bars where you could...

The Inn is located in an ideal spot for enjoying Mission and Pacific Beaches as well as La Jolla and downtown attractions. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. It is also 1/2 block from the surf of Pacific Beach. Rooms are simple but nicely appointed. A generous continental breakfast is provided. Management is friendly and very...

I loved this beach hotel. Me and some friends were looking for a great place to stay in Pacific Beach and came found this place online. The price was great for being so close to the beach and the room was fantastic. I will always stay here when coming to Pacific Beach.

Whenever I travel on business, I try to stay by the beach, if there is one, even if this means sacrificing the amenities of a business hotel. For me, this place ticks all the boxes. Room is big enough and comfortable. There is TV and wifi. Free parking. The staff are friendly and this place is right on Pacific Beach,...

We stayed at the Pacific Shores Inn on Mission Blvd. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Found the flat foam pillows not great. Room was spacious for the 2 of us. We were on the top floor and away from the road so had no noise complaints. Complaints we did have, were quickly dealt with: Initially we were in...

Positive - Basic Motel just off Pacific Beach. Rooms clean, beds nice. Free parking. Nothing fancy, but good value. Negative - the place does not have internet access (but staff said they were working on it).

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Pacific Shores Inn is a quaint inn located at the north end of Pacific Beach. Many of the rooms offer some views of the ocean, and restaurants and shops are just a couple of blocks away. The boardwalk is a 2.5 mile stretch that will take you from the north end of Pacific Beach all the way to the south end of Mission Beach. As you stroll down the boardwalk, you will find ocean front shops and restaurants as well as the famous Belmont Park in Mission Beach. Bike, and surfboard rentals are located within two blocks so there is no reason to pack those items when visiting us. And, every room has a microwave oven, refrigerator, and a coffee maker for your convenience. Some rooms also have full kitchens for those who require that. Parking, and a continental breakfast which includes juice, coffee, and danishes are always free. ... more   less
