My husband and I stayed at the cottages in late August as a last minute trip to visit family on the Cape. We were on a budget and the cottages were much cheaper than most the motels in the area. The staff was extremely friendly. The cottages are outdated but it's what I expected. I loved the fact that each...

I've been at that camground 5 times and everytime I felt at home with the owners and the staff. They will attend to your concerns and help you plan any visits on the Cap. They are 3 brothers, Gauthier from Quebec, that treir father moved to the Cap in 1953 and they know their roots and they are very hospitable....

So I decided to camp in a tent for the first time. I would be tenting as a female alone, so my concern was safety. The next concerns were privacy and natural beauty. Would the tents be on top of one another? All of my concerns were assuaged and my expectations exceeded. I felt totally safe, surrounded by many families...

July 2013 We rent a cottage, but we were disappointed : musty smell, not clean and need updating. Noisy location : delivery trucks and boats park in front of the cottage! Good location : Rail trail entrance and near the beautiful Nauset light beach.

We love staying here. We started as tenters, which there is a row in the back for tenters right next to the Rail Trail entrance, now we have a trailer and are about to go on our first trailer trip to Maurice's. The biggest downside to this campground is you can't reserve a specific site, you reserve a site but...

We have been staying here for many years. It's a small campground and the campsites are kept tidy and are mostly located in a pine tree'd area. Bathrooms are clean with soap provided and paid showers are hot. There is a small general store on the premisis where you can get grocery items, deli and some seafood. It's a bit...

We are camping in a trailer. The roads throughout the campground need serious repair and the sites need to be mowed or weed whacked making it uncomfortable to sit outside. The kids playground is very outdated and in a busy location. The convenience store is well stocked and the location is great. The price is just ok, but beats a...

I agree with the other posters in some ways -- this is a clean, well-run camp. But I had been used to camping in state parks in NY and PA, which spread campsites apart. At Maurice's campground, people are packed right next to each other, meaning that you get no privacy. If that is fine by you, go for it...

We have been staying at Maurice's for many years, first in our Pop up for quite a few, then a tent, and this year we stayed in a cabin. My daughter stayed in the same cabin last year. Being a seasonal camper in Western MA..I compare where I am to other places..I am always impressed by the updates that Maurice's...
