The Cameron House Inn is a great place to weather a storm like the one that came in this weekend. I enjoyed toasting my toes by the fireplace, eating homemade chocolate cake, and reading a book. Very comfortable place to spend the weekend.

We visited for the weekend from NJ in the off season - such a relaxing atmosphere. Cameron House Inn was so nicely decorated for the holidays, well kept and immaculate! Chris was so sweet and a wonderful cook. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend a stay here for some downtime.

We enjoyed our stay here---great breakfast; comfortable room; hostess the best! Town delightful to walk around and shop, and restaurants galore! Easy to find and convenient to sight seeing. We had an upstairs room that was a little tricky to get to with all our luggage, but we did it, slowly! We would go back again if returning to Manteo!

We stayed here while participating in the annual Wings Over Water wildlife festival that involves the wildlife refuges in eastern North Carolina--on the outer banks, as well as inland. Manteo was a convenient location for all the activities, the Cameron House Inn was very comfortable, spacious, and well appointed, and Chris, our hostess, was extremely accommodating in adapting to our...

We stayed at the Cameron House while on the Outer Banks for a few day stay. The Inn is perfectly tucked away in the quiet town of Manteo as opposed to being on the busy strip in Nags Head. It was a great place to base from so we could go south down the Cape Hatteras Seashore, or North to...

We love Susan!!! The rooms are beautiful, roomy, welcoming. Love the porches & outdoor fireplace. Close walk to downtown & waterfront. Will definitely be back!!

Cameron House is a beautifully restored home more than a century old. Restoration includes modern plumbing and temperature control. The furnishings are very comfortable and quite luxurious. We will stay there for future visits to the Outer Banks. Chris, the manager, is very knowledgeable about the building and about activities, restaurants and general information about the Outer Banks. She also...

What a delightful stay my daughter and I had at the Inn. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Chris, who is such a lovely person. We were able to check in early and found the Kingfisher room to be just what we hoped. The king-size bed was so comfortable and we were never bothered by any noise. We loved waking...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Cameron House B&B during a beach getaway weekend. We had seen it in previous visits to the island, and thought it looked like a nice place. We weren't disappointed. The B&B is beautiful inside and out, and located within walking distance of the Manteo waterfront. Bikes are also available for guests if...
