Located just a few km’s outside of Capitol Reef (not Arches, Julie Radio makes a mistake), the Red Sands hotel is a great base for day trips into Capitol Reef. The rooms were clean, well equipped with fridge, microwave and TV, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was not abundant, but adequate. There is a swimming pool and free...

We have stayed at the Red Sands about ever other year for 10 days at a time, would not think of staying at any other place. The staff goes out of their way to see to your needs. Rooms are clean, beds excellent, nice flat screen TV's and cable. Breakfast is a banquet of hot and cold cereals, eggs, sausage,...

We loved our hotel experience. The area is beautiful. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the family loved the pool. Dinner was a short drive away, as it is on the outskirts of town.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Walls were thin, could here traffic. Carpet a bit dated. Breakfast good. Mexican restaurant down the road was good (La Cueras) I think. Not many hotels near by.

The hotel was a comfortable, clean, newer hotel. All the basics with a friendly staff and an affordable price. The view from the back of the hotel was lovely, farmland with mountains in the background. I would definitely stay there again.

Red Sands Hotel in Torrey, UT is a pretty nice hotel. It is certainly not the Ritz or anything swanky, but is similar to a Hampton Inn or La Quinta. They provide a good breakfast in the morning with a waffle maker, yogurt, eggs, cereal, bagels, coffee and tea. They have a pool and a hot tub. The room is...

Check in was a bit clunky; was told my credit card reached its limit. Provided a second card, same thing. Turns out it was their Tablet device was on the wrong setting. Not friendly at check in and was informed several times we were getting the “King Suite” which cost more than what we pre-paid on Expedia. Making sure we...
