We were blessed to be on the very end of the row of campers so we did not have any big rigs blocking the view in our tiny house. The wind was fierce, & we encountered heavy rain most of the night. The owner, Leslie, was most helpful to give us suggestions & directions of things to do, & even...

This park/campground near Capital Reef National Park is a great place to stay while you explore the park. This RV park is under new ownership and they have already made vast improvements. A third cabin was just completed on the back of the property and has fabulous views of the cliffs. There is a beautiful hiking trail up the road...

New owners since January 2017, so they are working out the kinks. Very nice people, very helpful and friendly. They are working hard at making this campground an even better place. We stayed in a cabin for 4 nights and stayed nice and warm (it was cold outside) it is just minutes away from Capitol Reef and good hiking. Some...

Such a wonderful staff who was extremely helpful. I called on a Friday morning to see if there was availability for our pop-up tent trailer for the very next day and the owner was so helpful and nice. She told us about how there was a lot of wind the night before and gave great advice about making our stay...

We enjoyed our stay at Sandcreek. Leslie and Harry were extremely helpful and friendly. The grounds and bathrooms are well maintained. We were there when it was cold (it actually snowed the day we left) so the showers could run a little hotter, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The proximity to Capitol Reef and amenities is a plus. The...

Well equipped for tent camping. Wind breaks are a real asset. Showers, heated bathroom, fire pits, clean up sink etc. A great refuge on a windy day. Location is close to several restaurants, grocery stores etc.

We were referred here by a nearby campground that was full. The campground is small. The bathrooms are adequate and very clean. The owner was very friendly and wanted to provide the best service possible. She is a jewelry designer and had many of her wares to show us because we were craftsmen ourselves. The electric worked fine, We enjoyed...

We spent there a couple of nights and the experience was fantastic. Very welcoming host and ready to help at any time. The view is beautiful as the mountain range just in front looks as it was your backyard. One of the best restrooms we have seen in a campground. Very clean and really strong showers. We will definitely come...

We tent-camped here for two nights. It was very quiet and much smaller than other parks in the area; you could hear a pin drop after 9pm. A fence kept the wind at bay, but we still got rained out and had to sleep in our car on the second night. We were a little annoyed that the tent sites...

Thank you for staying with us.I'm sorry you didn't find the big sink in the laundry room and that's where you can find fresh drinking water and wash dishes. Usually tent folks want to be closer to the bathrooms. If you come again I'll make sure your in the group area or my furtherest tent space. Thanks again we appreciate...

While other RV Parks might appear fancier with their green grass...etc..they cannot compare to this little place and it's VIEWS. We loved it and found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Diablos restaurant is right across the street.

We are located 1 mile west of junction 24 and 12. On the west side of Torrey and on the north side of the road. We are a two story wood building with a sign out front saying Sandcreek RV Park and campground. We offer full hook-ups 30-50 amp service, tent spaces with wind breaks, cabins, and family room that sleeps 6. Our campground is small and and very quiet. Keeping the bathroom clean is very important to us and I know our visitors appreciate it. Come stay at the friendliest campground in southern Utah. We are very pet friendly! ... more   less
