A nice, quiet motel/restaurant conveniently located near Capitol Reef NP. The room was clean, large and well furnished (in a somewhat dated Soutwest motif--but hey, this is the Southwest). Large bathroom, comfortable bed. The cost was reasonable and included breakfast for 2 in the restaurant. What an amazing breakfast! The restaurant uses Fiesta dinnerware (a useful factoid if you're a...

We spent a night at the Rim Rock after a day at Capitol Reef NP (it's a very short drive from one to the other). Our room faced the West so we had a gorgeous view of the sunset. The room was a modern motel room with everything we needed. Parking was close and easy. The lobby offers coffee and...

Our room was very large and had a great view. It was clean and comfy. They takes dogs which was a plus for us. We had a full breakfast in the morning, which was very good. We would definitely stay there again.

I've paid far more for far worse rooms, which is rather fainter praise than deserved. This is a perfect crash pad to rest up, clean up, and fuel up between national parks. As others have mentioned the furnishings are worn although my room seemed to have been painted fairly recently and everything was in working order. It's worn, but not...

Spent one night. Check in and check out were quick. Hostess was efficient. Room was nice. No hair dryer but front desk quickly provided one when asked. Rates were very reasonable but we may have been in off-peak season. And the rate included a very complete, made to order, breakfast. Restaurant was attached so that was handy. Just one issue...

I had previously stayed at The Rim Rock Inn in 2010. My two friends and I decided to do a road trip to Goblin Valley and Capitol Reef. I made reservations at The Rim Rock because I remember it being a great motel that was reasonably priced. My friends and I stayed in two rooms for two nights. I had...

We only found this place on the recommendation of a friend who had visited earlier in the year. We stayed for two nights and visited Capitol Reef N P while on our way from Bryce to Moab. This relatively small motel is in an outstanding spot, with mountain views all around. We had a fabulous view of the sunset right...

The views from either side of the motel or from the attached restaurant are exceptional and impressive (and the food and service are notable). However, the motel itself is tired and and, in the case of our 2 rooms, barely serviceable. The toilet would not shut off and water leaked all night from the bathtub and the sink. The mattresses...

We had driven from Mexican Hat, up the Moki Dugway and were happy to get to Torrey. After camping for a couple of days this spot was a welcome relief. Our room faced the back of the canyon, very peaceful, quiet. Clean rooms and great water pressure in the shower. It was about $90 for two doubles and a full...
