The Front Desk women clerk, Dorothy(with the beautiful opal jewelry)was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Room was very clean, smelled good and newly remodeled. Motel was full but quiet and had a good night sleep. A little more pricey than other Motel 6, maybe with the area by Nat. Park Caverns and all the workers staying there too. wifi worked...

Stayed here while visiting Carlsbad Caverns. This motel is old and worn. The room we had was small but with a king-sized bed. The shower unit was pretty worn with brown marks on the edge that looked like cigarette burns. The vanity is outside of the bathroom and it was the only thing that looked newer. The faucet was reversed...

Well I know you get what you pay for, but for whatever reason lodging even in February is pricey and this was the most affordable option I found for about $70 a night. The person at the front desk was friendly, which was good being that I later had to ask to borrow an iron as irons and hair dryers...

Stayed at the Carlsbad Motel 6 for one night with my family in November 2013. We did not expect much, and we got even less. Loved the cockroach! The motel is located just off the main highway, and is about a 30 minute drive to the Carlsbad Caverns. A short drive from the motel you’ll find restaurants, and shopping. There...

I went with friends to visit the Caverns. We arrived in the late afternoon in Carlsbad and decided to sleep at Motel 6 after checked the prices of various motels (as other reviewers said, Carlsbad is expensive). The staff was very friendly, the room was basic but the beds were confortable. Free internet. If you don't care to have extra...

I met some cousins in Carlsbad, as they had never been to the caverns. I've been here several times, in past winters and things were quiet and cheap, not so anymore, due to the oil boom. I booked this motel, because I didn't want to spend $150 a night[paid $54+ tax]. when you go to a motel 6, you aren't...

So you need to know that I am a bit of a snob about hotels (but only a bit). We usually try to stay in at least 3 star places, but this time we were with family who needed a less expensive alternative and we didn't want to split up. For some reason the hotels in Carlsbad are unusually expensive...

After looking at the other reviews of this motel we thought it musn't be that bad, however, this place is cheap for a reason. The beds were covered in pet hair (on and in the beds), there was blood on one of the pillows, the others were stained and apparently 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper is good enough...

There are some that complain about Motel 6. There are plenty of hotels in Carlsbad that will gladly take your money. The Hampton Inn is a whopping $200 per night in Carlsbad. The Best Western $150. I think that is outrageous. Again this is a Motel 6. It does not come with all the "amenities" that other hotels may provide....

Me and my two kids came to spend christmas because my husband didn't have day off :( but fortunately we made of our room our house, everything was clean the beds were really comfortable (like REALLY!) so we had a very good rest, then it was quiet maybe cause of the season but really worth it... Affordable and comfortable... I...
