This was a graduation present from my parents to me. It was such an incredible vacation that I am so grateful for, even three months later. The staff at the hotel made our experience. I wanted to explore the city and enjoy every day we were there. They gave us maps and different activity options that we otherwise wouldn't have...

The Greenwich is our new number one! The best hotel we have ever stayed at, and by a decent margin. Our family of six had a ten night stay and cannot find any fault or failing for this amazing hotel...nothing but praise. The hotel is in trendy Tribecca...only a block from the Hudson River, loads of great restaurants nearby, easy...

I read a previous reviewers comments before I booked my reservation at the Greenwich Hotel...and he said "...if you enjoy charming places with lots of character, just book it..." I trusted the review and did as he said. I am so glad that I did. The entire staff at the Greenwich Hotel is simply lovely. Every single employee was upbeat,...

We stayed here after a trip travelling through New England in the fall. Courtesy of Amex we received a double upgrade and the room was very comfortable, the dreamiest bed (cloud like pillows!) a sofa so comfortable I wanted to take it home and an enormous room sized double shower! The complimentary soft drinks in the well stocked mini bar...

I was only staying at the hotel for 5 days and it was absolutely lovely.. arrived late in the evening but the fabulous reception staff managed to get me a table at their Italian restaurant (food was amazing!), the room wasn't huge but a rather good size; there was a handwritten welcome note on the table along with couple of...

The little detail or the big picture....I can not decide what made me gush about my stay at the Greenwich Hotel. The place has so much spirit and your eyes never tire of finding all the details in the design and decor. Each room is apparently unique but I only saw mine so I can only speak to the fact...

Everything about this hotel inspires a tranquil stay. From the greetings of the bellman to the genuine helpfulness of the front desk, the staff's efforts are all about making your visit a pleasure. The large solarium which is located just off the lobby opens onto a magical courtyard, a perfect spot for breakfast or drinks. Our room was understated luxury...

We stayed here for 6 nights in May-June .... imagine if you had a billionaire uncle with a wonderful quirky guesthouse in Venice .... then you get close to the Greenwich ..... it is totally FANTASTIC ... and Locanda Verde is one of the best restaurants in the city ... great food and unpretentious atmosphere.... I'd really like to give...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
